The beginning of this week it got really warm around these parts. So I fell back on a trusty combination — the stretchy pencil skirt and t-shirt. I wore this combo non-stop last summer when I was pregnant, but this year I’ve found that it’s even more fun with graphic tees, rather than solid colored ones. This pretty one from target is one of my favorites in my closet, and I think this outfit (or ones really similar to it) will be on repeat all summer long.
And here are a few other fun graphic tees that I’m loving right now:
p.s. don’t forget to enter the Little Mr. bow tie giveaway!
I love that combination. I need to go out and get myself some cute solid or striped skirts.
Awesome- that bag really pulls it all together! You are darling!

Dumb question: I love your glasses, but the link you posted to only has a black and tortoise option (both of which would look ridiculous on me, I'm sure). Did they have another color previously that has the gold arms like yours? 🙂
yes, I don't think they have the gold armed option anymore. I got these ones about 7 or 8 months ago. Sorry!
I love that j. Crew tee. I saw it in the store last week, but didn't want to spend the cash. I might try making my own version.
I was thinking the same thing!
Great! Now we have the same skirt.
you look cute!
2nd comment ever on your blog!

I had a skirt exactly like this but I lost it, it was a very sad day when I couldn't find it =[. I also wish we had a clothing Target in New Zealand, the one we have here only stocks furniture haha.
Love this outfit so much lots!

I love the dressed up bottom paired with the dressed down top! Also, I think your glasses and your bag are adorable. xoxo
So cute! I love this and i have to ask, how tall are you? I just ordered this skirt from ON and it's SO long! Seriously, I'm going to have to hack off about 4 inches to get it to my knee! I'm 5'2" so petite, but not ridiculously so. Also I'm planning to follow your recent Anthro pattern pop tee knockoff tonight! Thanks for that! 🙂
I recently learned of a new website called The Shelf. It’s like Pinterest for online shopping. Instead of “fixing” your items, you create shelves and then “set aside” clothing items you are thinking of buying (of course, you can also set aside other items, such as clothes you already own or are blogging). For further info you can try mygiftcardsite now. The best part is that it keeps track of the price and notifies you when an archived item goes on sale (or you can set a “price alert” to be notified when the price falls to the price you want to pay) and offers a discount codes when available.
