As a 30 something year old mom, I skip a lot of super trendy items to keep my style simple and classic. But this fall the trends are so chic and classic that I’m jumping on board with LOTS of them! Check out my ten favorite fall trends.

As I get older, I’m trying to stay a little farther away from trendy pieces. There are always a few each season that I’ll definitely buy and wear, but overall my style is simple and classic so I try to stick to styles that will last a little longer.

But for fall 2018 I’m seeing a lot of trends emerge that are chic and classic. And many of them are prints, colors, and styles that I already wear so I’m thrilled to see them getting bigger.

I bet you have some of them in your closet as well.

Ten fall trends that are actually worth wearing

Leopard print

Leopard print has been around for ages, but for fall we’ll see it in larger doses. Leopard print dresses, sweaters, cardigans, and more. I own several pairs of leopard shoes, and it’s an easy way to add it in without feeling overwhelmed by the print. But I think I’ll add a LEOPARD CARDIGAN to my closet this year.

Graphic tees

Graphic tees are so fun, and this year I’ve really embraced the trend and added a few to my closet. To keep them age appropriate, wear them under a tailored blazer, or tuck them into a pretty pleated skirt.

Busy florals and polka dots

Busy prints are so popular this year. I’m seeing a lot of combinations of busy prints, and although I wore THIS DRESS and loved the combination of prints, not every busy print combination is great.

But that being said, I love, love, love floral prints (especially the small ones for fall), and polka dots. These two prints will be so popular this fall.

Blazers

I’ve owned several blazers over the years, and struggled to fit them into my style. I’ve just never been able to find one that felt like the right one for me. But then I saw THIS ONE from the Dior Runway show and guys….I NEED THAT BLAZER. I couldn’t find any online just like it, so I think I might make one for myself. I need it that much. Should I do a tutorial?

There are lots of other pretty ones out there, and these are a few that are chic and classic too.

The color red

This was a hot color last fall too, and here we are a year later still seeing it around. It lasted all through summer, and I’m thrilled it’s still on trend because I love it.

Leather jackets

This is a no brainer choice for me. I love a good leather jacket, and I’ve owned several over the years. They’re a great layer for fall with medium wash jeans and a graphic tee, or over a sweater.

Studded

Ever since Valentino came out with their studded heels, studs have been in the mix. I don’t love every studded piece, but studs on handbags (like the one I wore in yesterday’s post!), studs on jackets, and studs on shoes are a subtle way to add some chic edge to an outfit. Just make sure you choose pieces that are classic, and that the studs are tasteful.

Chambray Shirts

Western vibes are big for fall, and although the fringe and cowboy boots aren’t going to be showing up in my closet anytime soon, I’m completely on board for the chambray, western style shirts.

Shearling

I’ve added bits of shearling to my wardrobe over the years, but my favorite piece was this LEVI’S DENIM JACKET. I wore it non stop last fall and winter. I’m also loving shearling jackets and vests to add some beautiful, chic texture to an outfit.

Plaid

Last, but certainly not least, plaid. I love plaid so much. It’s classic and beautiful, and will never go out of style. I’m seeing it on skirts, shirts, jackets, and even shoes.

Thank you for sharing your personal experience. Of course, interest in certain activities also plays a huge role. The higher it is, the higher the motivation, and therefore the more effective your workouts. I, along with the streoids http://www.samsonsteroidsuk.com and physical training, have acquired the perfect shape for all the time. And all thanks to the goals that I have set for myself.
