I’ve been getting tons of questions about wearing white after Labor Day. Can you do it? YES YOU CAN. Here are four ways to wear winter white outfits.

Wearing white after Labor Day is possible!

If you’re struggling wearing white after Labor Day, this post is for you! I’ve been getting lots of questions about how to wear jeans, skirts, or white pants after Labor Day, so I’ve put together a 4 outfits with different ways to wear white pieces in the fall and winter.

Is the no-white-after-Labor-Day rule still a thing?

Nope. You can absolutely wear white after Labor Day! There are no hard and fast fashion rules anymore.

White jeans are bright and fresh and feel summery, so they definitely feel more natural in the summer. But in the fall and winter you can absolutely put together white pants, skirts, and jeans to make them feel seasonally appropriate.

Every week when I do these 4 WAYS TO WEAR IT posts, I share these styles on different body types and ages so you can see that you can wear this too, even if you’re a different age or body type than me.

So check out these ways of wearing white after Labor Day on other body types and ages.

Check out these four ways for wearing white after Labor Day

1. Try winter whites with various shades of tan and cream

This is my favorite way to wear winter whites. Try different shades of white, tan, and cream. They all pair together in a really gorgeous winter-y color combo.

Try this outfit in both fall and winter, and even into spring!

If it’s too cold for flats, swap them for  ankle boots or even taller boots.

2. Try wearing white after Labor Day with white pants and gray or blush

Blush and gray are both great color options for a winter white outfit. I was going to show you white and gray in one outfit, and white and blush in another outfit, but instead I’ll just show you them together.

This color block sweater has cream, gray, and blush, and all three work together with white, or separately with white.

3. Pair your white bottoms with deep, fall colors after Labor Day.

A lot of “winter white outfits” have all white. But I wanted to show you that you can wear those white skirts (which feel very summery) with dark, fall colors. Try deep green (like I did here), navy, olive, burgundy, or burnt orange to create a really gorgeous fall outfit.

Finish the outfit with winter-y shoes, like tall boots.

4. Pair cream or white with rust or burnt orange for an easy winter white outfit.

I love wearing rust in the fall. It’s just the perfect fall color! Pair your white (or cream) pants with rust for a really pretty fall look.

Hopefully this post helps you realize that wearing white after Labor Day is easier than you think! Your white and cream pants and skirts can last far beyond spring and summer. Try one (or all four) of these outfits.
