Time for this week’s dinner ideas! It was a really busy week with a lot of events, but I loved the time we had to eat together at home.

Our weekly menu will give you some good dinner ideas

Time for this week’s dinner ideas! While we had a lot more meals out/leftovers than normal, I still wanted to share what a busy week of dinners looks like for us.

Here’s a quick review of our weekly dinners:

Monday: Leftovers

Tuesday: Shredded Beef Tacos

Wednesday: Free Choice

Thursday: Charity Event

Friday: Mavericks Game

Saturday: BBQ Chicken Pizza

Sunday: Lasagana

Sunday Dessert: Ooey Gooey Butter Cake Bars

Turkey Noodle Soup

On Sunday last week, we made a traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinner since we were in Mexico for Thanksgiving. We always do turkey soup with the leftover turkey, and it’s the best!

BBQ Pizza

This is our favorite pizza. We put grilled chicken, BBQ sauce, frozen corn, and fresh jalapeños on it.

Lasagna

I don’t make lasagna very often cause it’s pretty involved, but it’s a good Sunday night dinner. This one is delicious and pretty simple!

Ooey Gooey Butter Cake Bars

This is one of my all time favorite desserts. It’s pretty easy to make and super rich and filled with butter (hence the name) but it is SO delicious. If you’ve never tried it, you must!

Weekly Menu September 4-10

Time for this week’s dinner ideas! This week’s meals were perfectly easy, quick, and delicious for a busy schedule!

Our weekly menu will give you some good dinner ideas!

This week our meals were simple and delicious! We started the week off with a cookout for our first holiday in our new house and it was so fun! All of these dinners are perfect for busy weeknights and sure to be a win for the whole family.

Here’s a quick review of our weekly dinners:

Monday: Hamburgers, Hotdogs, Corn on the Cob, and Watermelon

For Labor Day, we did our first BBQ in the new house! The boys requested hamburgers and hotdogs, we ate outside while a storm rolled in, and then we roasted s’mores. Perfect first holiday in the house!

Tuesday: Leftovers

Wednesday: Breakfast for Dinner (Crepes + Bacon)

I asked the boys for dinner ideas this week and someone asked for crepes. Easy, peasy and everyone is happy!

Thursday: BBQ Pizza

This week PW and I had a dinner on Friday night, so we moved pizza night to Thursday instead of Friday. BBQ pizza was requested by the boys since we hadn’t had it in a few weeks. It’s our favorite! I use Mel’s Kitchen Cafe’s pizza dough and it’s so quick and easy. I top with chicken, BBQ sauce, cheese, fresh jalapenos, and frozen corn. Yum, it’s so good.

Friday: Mac & Cheese

Nope, not the fancy homemade stuff, just the good old Mac and cheese in a box. While PW and I were out to dinner, the boys stayed home with quick Mac and cheese.

Saturday: Family Date Night

We love doing family date night on Saturdays where we all go out to eat!

Sunday: Red Beans and Rice with Cornbread

This is one of our favorite Sunday recipes. Toss it in the crockpot and it’s ready by the end of the day. I serve with Krusteaz Honey Cornbread from the box, cause it’s delicious and a little more sweet than other recipes.

Sunday Dessert: Lemon Gooey Bars

These lemon bars look amazing and delicious for Sunday dessert!
