Our weekly menu will give you some good dinner ideas
Time for this week’s dinner ideas! This is the first menu in a while, with visitors in town and traveling we haven’t had a formal menu in a while but we’re happy to get back on it this week!
Here’s a quick review of our weekly dinners:
I’m going to add this little overview every week so you can see our true full weekly menu to get dinner ideas.
Monday: Chicken Roll-Ups and Broccoli
Tuesday: Navajo Tacos
Wednesday: Burgers
Thursday: Breakfast Burritos
Friday: Homemade Pizza
Saturday: Out to Eat
Sunday: Red Beans and Rice
Sunday Dessert: Strawberry Nutella Crepes
Chicken Roll-Ups with Broccoli on The Side
This was my favorite dinner as a kid and the thing I always requested for my birthday dinner. They’re easy to make and I always just cook the chicken in the crockpot with chicken bouillon all day so it’s really easy to throw together at dinner time. My family likes them with breadcrumbs AND plain with a sprinkle of smoked paprika on top, so I usually make half and half.
Navajo Tacos
This was B’s request for dinner this week. They’re super easy to make — quick dough fried up, and then whatever toppings your kids want.
Homemade Burger
It was a week of kid requests on the menu, and Sanny requested burgers. We use our ButcherBox burger patties, homemade or store-bought buns and I usually do frozen curly fries or tater tots on the side.
Breakfast Burrito
We have golf and football on Thursdays, so breakfast burritos are a good quick choice for dinner. We always do ground breakfast sausage, eggs, cheese, and tater tots, and then add homemade salsa. Delish!
Bacon Mushroom Pizza
We’re mixing it up this week and doing bacon mushroom pizza! It’s delicious — even my older boys love it! I still do just cheese for Sanny since he won’t touch it.
Red Beans and Rice
Philip’s been craving this, so he asked for it this week. I love that it’s easy to toss in the crockpot and cook all day. I always serve it with cornbread muffins, and always reduce the amount of seasoning so it’s not spicy.
Strawberry Nutella Crepes
We love crepes in our house, and Nutella strawberry crepes seemed like a great idea for Sunday dessert!
