Time for this week’s dinner ideas! It was a really busy week with a lot of events, but I loved the time we had to eat together at home.

Our weekly menu will give you some good dinner ideas

Time for this week’s dinner ideas! While we had a lot more meals out/leftovers than normal, I still wanted to share what a busy week of dinners looks like for us.

Here’s a quick review of our weekly dinners:

Monday: Leftovers

Tuesday: Shredded Beef Tacos

Wednesday: Free Choice

Thursday: Charity Event

Friday: Mavericks Game

Saturday: BBQ Chicken Pizza

Sunday: Lasagana

Sunday Dessert: Ooey Gooey Butter Cake Bars

Turkey Noodle Soup

On Sunday last week, we made a traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinner since we were in Mexico for Thanksgiving. We always do turkey soup with the leftover turkey, and it’s the best!

BBQ Pizza

This is our favorite pizza. We put grilled chicken, BBQ sauce, frozen corn, and fresh jalapeños on it.

Lasagna

I don’t make lasagna very often cause it’s pretty involved, but it’s a good Sunday night dinner. This one is delicious and pretty simple!

Ooey Gooey Butter Cake Bars

This is one of my all time favorite desserts. It’s pretty easy to make and super rich and filled with butter (hence the name) but it is SO delicious. If you’ve never tried it, you must!

Weekly Menu-August 21-27

Time for this week’s dinner ideas! This week’s meals were perfectly easy, quick, and delicious for a busy schedule!

Our weekly menu will give you some good dinner ideas!

We spent the whole week moving into our new house, so we stuck to simple, yummy meals. All of these dinners are perfect for busy weeknights.  This week our meals were simple and delicious!

Here’s a quick review of our weekly dinners:

Monday: Tex-Mex Migas

These are a super simple recipe — basically just egg tacos! I needed to order groceries so I just used what I had on hand to make these and it worked. I even added some shredded pork that we had leftover. Yum

Tuesday: Leftovers

Wednesday: Crockpot French Dip Sandwiches

These are a super easy recipe that is great for a weeknight. Just toss your meat in the crockpot in the morning and it’s ready by dinner. Just throw it on some toasty bread with cheese. Everyone loves it!

Thursday: Orecchiette with Sausage, Sun-Dried Tomatoes and Broccoli

I absolutely love sun dried tomatoes, and this recipe is super good. It’s also quick and easy for weeknights!

Friday: BBQ Chicken Pizza

We have pizza every Friday! We use Mel’s Kitchen Cafe’s pizza dough and put BBQ sauce, cheese, chicken, frozen corn, and fresh jalapeños on top. So good!

Saturday: Mom and Dad Date Night

Sunday: Green Chile Pork

This is one of our all time favorite recipes. So good! It cooks in the crockpot all day and is best served with homemade flour tortillas.

  1. Maureen says:

If it’s an item that doesn’t fit due to some weight fluctation, i will store it away for 6-12 months (if it’s seasonal it’s closer to the 12 month mark) then revisit to see if it fits. If it does and i like it then it goes into my closet. if it doesn’t fit then i either sell or donate it.

  2. It is wary to be very tasty. I think you should try and cook it yourself.
