Time for this week’s dinner ideas! It was a really busy week with a lot of events, but I loved the time we had to eat together at home.

Our weekly menu will give you some good dinner ideas

Time for this week’s dinner ideas! While we had a lot more meals out/leftovers than normal, I still wanted to share what a busy week of dinners looks like for us.

Here’s a quick review of our weekly dinners:

Monday: Leftovers

Tuesday: Shredded Beef Tacos

Wednesday: Free Choice

Thursday: Charity Event

Friday: Mavericks Game

Saturday: BBQ Chicken Pizza

Sunday: Lasagana

Sunday Dessert: Ooey Gooey Butter Cake Bars

Turkey Noodle Soup

On Sunday last week, we made a traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinner since we were in Mexico for Thanksgiving. We always do turkey soup with the leftover turkey, and it’s the best!

BBQ Pizza

This is our favorite pizza. We put grilled chicken, BBQ sauce, frozen corn, and fresh jalapeños on it.

Lasagna

I don’t make lasagna very often cause it’s pretty involved, but it’s a good Sunday night dinner. This one is delicious and pretty simple!

Ooey Gooey Butter Cake Bars

This is one of my all time favorite desserts. It’s pretty easy to make and super rich and filled with butter (hence the name) but it is SO delicious. If you’ve never tried it, you must!

Weekly Menu, May 15 – 21

Time for this week’s dinner ideas! This week’s meals were easy, quick, and delicious!

Our weekly menu will give you some good dinner ideas!

This week I made easy, quick dinners that were a hit. We’re trying to clean out our freezer before we move in a few weeks, so a lot of the ingredients were already on hand. With simple meals that were quick and easy to make, this week’s meals were winners for the whole family!

Here’s a quick review of our weekly dinners:

Monday: Leftovers

Tuesday: Meatball Subs

This was an easy week night meal that I made with some frozen meatballs and a jar of tomato sauce. All the kids loved it!

Wednesday: Free Choice

Thursday: Chicken Fajitas

I’ve been making these fajitas for years and they’re my favorite. The marinade is so good and flavorful, and I cook them til the peppers are super soft. Highly recommend.

Friday: BBQ Chicken Pizza

We make this every weekend and this is our favorite pizza dough recipe. Easy and so yummy.

Saturday: Out to Eat

Sunday: Ham Soup

We are working through our freezer to get rid of everything before we move. We have leftover ham from Christmas so I’m making some ham soup for Sunday dinner. Easy, and also uses lots of other things in my pantry and fridge.

Sunday Dessert: Chocolate Chip Cookies

These are our favorite chocolate chip cookies! They’re perfectly crisp on the outside and gooey on the inside. I often make them with white and milk chocolate chips.

Ultimately, the choice between dish or cooking depends on your goals, time constraints, and preferences. If you enjoy the process of creating meals from scratch and have the time and resources, cooking allows you to experiment with flavors and techniques. However, if you’re looking for a quicker solution or have limited time, focusing on preparing a specific dish can be a more efficient approach. I adopted the name yoyo dinner from another blog (minimal-ish living). It stands for You’re On Your Own for dinner. Ha ha!

I’ve been looking forward to working on this project for quite some time. This essay is being written to fulfill an assignment for a class presentation on your topic fnaf.
