This weekly menu has our favorite sausage stuffed shells, a delicious Olive Garden copycat recipe, and my oldest son’s favorite dessert ever that we made for his birthday.

This weekly menu has some old tried and true favorites

Some weeks I feel like trying all new recipes. Other weeks, my weekly menu is full of old favorites.

I made an Olive Garden Zuppa Toscano copycat recipe that I’ve literally been making for almost 10 years, our favorite stuffed shells I’ve been making for almost 14 years, an easy BBQ chicken in the instant pot that I make all the time, and more.

Sausage stuffed shells

I found this recipe when Philip and I were dating, and it’s still one of our favorites, 13+ years later. My kids love it (except my 4 year old, who of course hates that there’s “green things” in there…at least he’ll eat the sausage), and it makes amazing leftovers.

Zuppa Toscano Soup

This is one of our all time favorite soups. It’s simple and flavorful, and even my kids loved it. (Well, except my 4 year old…).

The recipe calls for it to cook in the crockpot, but I always have cooked it on the stove.

Just cook the bacon and set aside, then cook the sausage in the pot, add the potatoes and broth and cook til the potatoes soften, then add the kale and half and half. Just before serving, toss in the bacon.

Super good!

Crockpot BBQ Chicken

This is literally the easiest recipe ever. Just toss a few chicken thighs and a bottle of BBQ sauce in the crockpot and cook on low for 7-8 hours until it’s soft and falling apart.

If you have some pineapple juice laying around, toss a cup of that in there too for a little extra delicious flavor.

We always serve it on Hawaiian rolls, but any rolls will do!

Homemade Pizza

Of course we had to make homemade pizza this Friday. It’s tradition! This is our favorite pizza crust ever.

Homemade hamburgers

My oldest son’s birthday is today, but since it’s Easter Sunday, we decided to celebrate on Saturday. We made homemade burgers — his favorite!

We also serve them on hard rolls from the grocery store, and top them with pepper jack cheese and extra pickles. Delish.

Butter Cake

This was my son’s requested birthday cake, and holy moly it’s amazing. It’s just as rich and buttery as the name, but you literally can’t stop eating it once you start.

You have to try it.
