This week we made a new soup recipe in our weekly menu. It was delicious, comforting, and super heathy.
Our weekly menu will give you some good dinner ideas
I love trying out new recipes, and this week our chicken and barley soup was new and was absolutely delicious. Check out the rest of our weekly menu!

Breakfast burritos
Breakfast burritos are always a winner at our house! We always put tater tots in them instead of potatoes and they’re delicious.
We also just discovered that cooking tater tots in the air fryer makes them way more crispy and delicious than in the oven — and it takes a fraction of the time!
Chicken and Barley Soup
This chicken and barley soup was a new recipe for us, and was seriously delicious. Simple, flavorful, and hearty with the addition of barley.
Chicken Cacciatore in the Slow Cooker
I love a good crockpot dinner that I can toss in at the beginning of the day and have very little effort in the evening. we’ve made this chicken cacciatore recipe before and loved it, so we gave it another go!
Philip named it one of his top ten homemade meals! It’s so delicious and the chicken is beyond tender. Definitely recommend.
Enchiladas
We absolutely adore these enchiladas. I shared the recipe in this post here, because it’s a recipe from an old cookbook and not online.
We sometimes do beef enchiladas, sometimes we do pork. But either way it’s delicious. I usually serve with chips and salsa, plus some fruit.
BBQ pizza
We still can’t stop making this BBQ pizza! It has become our very favorite recipe! We put grilled chicken, corn, sauce, cheese, and peppers on it, and it’s incredible.
I always use THIS PIZZA DOUGH.
White chocolate raspberry tart
We made this tart a few weeks ago and it was so good, we had to make it again. Last time the raspberries at the grocery store were crazy expensive and not good, so we used frozen raspberries. But this time raspberries on sale so we used fresh raspberries and it was even better.
Also the recipe calls for 2 cups of raspberries, but I added more cause last time it didn’t feel like enough. I used 3 of those 6-oz containers of raspberries.
I made the chicken cAcciatori and my whole family liked it. That is quite an accomplishment. I love this series. Please keep doing this because I have gotten so many great recipes from it. Thank you!
