I love all the new fresh trends that come with spring time, and this year there are so, so many good ones. Last week I shared a few sandal trends, but this week I’ve teamed up with Nordstrom to share a few of my favorite shoe trends for spring. Nordstrom has the best selection of shoes and they’re my go-to for all new trends. These are my three favorite spring shoe trends — you must try all of them!
1. Perforated. Laser cut, eyelet, and perforation are all details that I’m seeing everywhere this season, in both shoes and clothing, and I absolutely love this trend. It adds such a delicate, feminine feel to garments and shoes. Perforated booties are the perfect transitional shoe for spring as we go from boots to sandals. I wore this pair with a pleated white skirt and they added a little bit of edge, but I also love them paired with boyfriend jeans like I did here. I can’t wait to wear them with my white skinny jeans this spring as well. There are so many great perforated booties at Nordstrom right now — I’m also loving this sand colored pair, these ones with a wider perforation and a low heel, and these with a decorative laser cut!
2. Lace Up. I cannot get enough of the lace up trend…I swear I would own twenty pairs of lace up flats if I could fit them in my closet. The lace up trend goes beyond just flats — I see them in espadrilles, heels, wedges, and more — but for spring I think a simple flat is such a good choice and is easy to wear with jeans or a pretty skirt or dress. I love these ones with laser cut details that I’m wearing above (which also come in black!), but these basic ones are also so pretty, and I love these snakeskin print ones.
3. Wooden Heel. This is such a fun trend that I’ve been dying to try out for a while. Clogs with a wooden heel are becoming really popular as well, and although I’m not a huge fan of that style of shoe, I do love the wooden heel on wedges and block heel sandals. The pair I’m wearing is completely neutral, but the big block wooden heel makes them such a statement piece. I wanted them to stand out, so I paired it with an all white look and I love the pop of earthy tones they add. I’m also loving this wedge pair, and this pair that is similar to my pair but with a shorter heel.
Three fantastic casual outfits! I like your style very much!
