Over the last few months I’ve had tons of requests for workwear outfits on Merrick’s Art. I don’t work in an office, and haven’t for over eight years, but I’m definitely on board to find pieces that work for mom life, weekends AND the office for those of you who need some inspiration!

So I’m super excited to be partnering with Ann Taylor today to share three easy outfits that are perfect for the office…but full of pieces that are great for any other occasion!

An easy outfit to wear to the office
Add a scarf to your bag for a pop of color!
this pinstripe pants are so flattering and comfortable!

This pinstripe pant and lace top combination makes a fun and easy work outfit

Ruffle Block Heel Sandals c/o Ann Taylor (TTS + so comfortable!)
Pink Silk Scarf c/o Ann Taylor

Cropped Pants + A Feminine Top

I picked up these pinstripe cropped pants at Ann Taylor and they’re so lightweight and comfortable, but not a bit sheer. They’re a super versatile pair of pants that could be worn with a tee and a blazer or jacket, or a button down shirt, but I chose to wear them with this beautiful lace top for a simple, feminine look.

To finish the outfit, I wore these ruffle block heel sandals, but this look would be great with a pair of pointed toe flats too!

For a non-office look: These pants would be fun with sneakers and a graphic tee, and this tee would look so cute with shorts or jeans and sandals. And of course the block heel sandals would be pretty with any dress or skirt for church.

Dark Jeans + A Statement Jacket

Many of you said that your office allows jeans, so this is a great outfit for you.

A pair of dark wash jeans is essential to everyone’s closet (go buy a pair right now if you don’t own one!!), and I made them instantly office appropriate with a feminine blouse and this killer ruffled tweed jacket. Can you even handle that jacket?!

Since the outfit is very neutral, I wanted to add a little pop so I chose these amazing patterned bow flats from Ann Taylor. They’re still professional, but they add such a perfect pop of personality.

For a non office look: Wear the jeans with a tee or sweater every day of your life. Try the scalloped blouse tucked into a pair of boyfriend jeans for the weekend or a skirt for church. And the flats would be so fun with a pretty spring dress, or with jeans and a sweater!

Print Mixing with a Dress + Shoes

The second I saw this navy and green striped dress, I knew I had to have it. It’s one of those one-and-done dresses that you can just toss on and go — you know I love those.

But I wanted to make it a little more special, so I paired it with these patterned bow flats. Even though the dress and shoes both have bold prints, the navy blue ties them together. I love that it creates a really unexpected and interesting outfit.

I added a very neutral bag so it doesn’t compete for attention.

For a non-office look: This dress would be so cute with sneakers and a denim jacket for spring and summer! And these flats would be perfect with boyfriend jeans and a gray tee for the weekend.

It was so fun to put together these three workwear looks for you! Every piece is so versatile and perfect for spring. Check out all of Ann Taylor’s new arrivals right here!
