Winter is here, and winter coats are EXPENSIVE. I found the perfect place to find amazing deals on so many brands of winter coats!

We live in Southern California where the winters are….well, mild. It’s been 80 degrees everyday this week, so mild is an understatement.

Anyway, because of these mild winters, it’s hard to justify spending a lot of money on good winter coats, because we just don’t need them very often. BUT sometimes we do need them! And I also need them when I travel during the winter!

I found a brand new J.Crew wool winter coat on eBay!

Enter eBay. I always used to think of eBay for electronics, or household items. But they actually have an amazing fashion section! Like, all the brands I already wear, but at amazing, lower prices.

I’ve been debating about a J.Crew wool coat for literally years, and after five minutes of searching on eBay I found the most gorgeous forest green wool coat from j.crew, brand new, in my size, for a fraction of the original cost.

Best. Day. Ever.

Tips for shopping for clothes on eBay

1. Choose your Item Location. eBay has tons of good filters on the left side toolbar to help you find the right product. I like to narrow my search by “item location” and choose “United States” so I know it will have quick shipping and I’ll get items that are relevant to me.
2. Select “Buy it Now” option. If you’re like me, you don’t like bidding on items. So many of eBay’s items are now non-bidding, and if you select the “Buy it Now” option in the left side toolbar, you can find items that are all available to purchase immediately without bidding.
3. Narrow your search by size and brand. Like I said, they have so many good filter options, so take advantage. Definitely select your size so you see items that are right for you, and then depending on the product I like to filter by brand so I can see the options for the name brands I love. This is how I find my J.Crew coat!
