The other day I shared my favorite places to buy clothing for my boys, and I mentioned that I get most of my toddler and kid shoes from Rack Room Shoes. Rack Room Shoes has a huge selection, tons of good name brands, and incredible prices.

Sanny has gone through a big growth spurt the past month, so all but one pair of his shoes was now too small. So we hopped over to Rack Room Shoes and picked up two new summer sneakers — THESE CUTE TODDLER ADIDAS (the same pair that he wore last year HERE), and these GRAY AND ORANGE NIKE TODDLER SNEAKERS.

obsessed with these light blush vans!
who said terrible twos? Two is my favorite age ever.

These NIKE TODDLER SNEAKERS are maybe my favorite style of sneaker I buy for my kids. They’re comfortable, lightweight, supportive, and the elastic laces and velcro strap make them easy enough to put on by themselves (well, not Sanny yet…but Fos has the same style shoes and he has been able to put them on by himself for over a year).

I wanted a light pair of sneakers for spring, and when I saw these BLUSH PINK VANS I instantly fell in love. The color is perfect, the style is casual and fun, and I’ll be wearing these constantly. I’ll just pull out the laces and toss them in the wash if they get dirty!

toddler and mommy style: in between winter and spring
Starting to incorporate more sandals in my wardrobe as it warms up!
black on black, a denim jacket, and wedge sandals
wedges comfy enough to run around in

There are so many wedge sandals out there, but I’m always searching for a pair that isn’t too tall, and that’s cute and neutral.

I can walk in 4″ stilettos no problem, but put me in a platform wedge and I’m sure to sprain an ankle.

I found these really cute BROWN CORK WEDGE SANDALS at Rack Room Shoes and had to grab them. They’re under $40, the wedge is the perfect height coming in at just over 3″, and they’re the perfect neutral brown. Perfect mom shoes for days when you want a little lift, but you can still run after a toddler.

Last summer I bought Sanny these same WHITE VELCRO TODDLER ADIDAS SNEAKERS and I loved them. They’re easy to keep clean with a little spray or wipe, and the velcro makes it super easy to put on or take off.

New boy mamma here. I love the way you dress your boys. Just wonder why You prefer girls jeans for them? What is the DIFFERENCE between the boy and girl jeans. Do you buy them for the older boys as well?

    • Merrick says:

Oh, I don’t always buy girl jeans for them…only a handful of times if the boy skinny jeans aren’t all that great. I buy the boy ones from H&M and Cotton On! And I’ve only done it for my little toddlers — not my older boys 🙂 Hope that makes sense!
