Yesterday I celebrated my third mother’s day as a mom. Although my time as a mother hasn’t been all smooth sailing, and every morning when I wake up I have to pray for extra patience with this crazy and stubborn little boy, I wouldn’t trade this job for anything in the world. My sweet Peanut is my pride and joy, and to see him learn and grow and develop his own personality has been (and continues to be) the most amazing and fun journey. He has taught me patience, love, and joy like I never knew was possible.
Also, I can’t do a mother’s day post without a little mention of my amazing mother and wonderful mother-in-law. Besides Philip, my mom is my biggest supporter, and really the best mom I could have asked for. And my mother-in-law is the reason I have my sweet husband, so obviously I love her for that.
Speaking of that sweet husband, he surprised me with a brand new camera for mother’s day. That guy is so good to me.
