cardigan & tunic: target (here and here) // leggings: h&m // wedges: old navy (shop) // necklace: c/o sway chic (shop)
Today is just a jumble of thoughts, along with an outfit that turned out better than I expected.
Yesterday I hit twenty nine weeks in my pregnancy. With all the trips we’ve been on this summer, these last ten or so weeks have flown by…I can hardly believe I’m this far along already!
This last week, after we returned home from our family reunion, I spent two days painting Peanut’s room, and working on a few more things in our full bathroom. We are planning to go shopping this weekend and pick up Peanut’s new bed, along with a new mattress for us (finally), and a few other odds and ends for the house. Things are slowly but surely coming together, and I’m feeling so happy about it! Pictures of all of these changes will come eventually…
I signed up Peanut for pre-school this week. It was sort of a last minute decision, but after I found out about a great one that is right around the corner from our house, everything just fell into place. Since I mentioned it to him on Friday night, he has talked about nothing else, and has even refused to nap once because he was so determined to go to school. Next Wednesday (his first day) cannot come soon enough for him!
Philip and I started watching Prison Break together last week, and we are completely addicted. Every night we say we’ll watch “just one more episode,” and then end up staying up far later than we should. But it’s seriously fun to have a show to watch together, even if it is consuming all our thoughts and dreams for the last week!

I thought you had to be 3 to start preschool! I would love to get the bug in preschool. So nice for both of you!

I know the just one more episode thing. It is crazy. Prison Break was one of the few shows that I said was going to give me a heart attack. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. Man was it good. Are you on season 1?
