As much as I love heels and even flats, sneakers are really the shoes I live in day to day. As a mom of three boys (three boys! Still wrapping my mind around that!), comfortable, easy shoes are an absolute essential in my closet, so I’ve teamed up with Keds to share one of my favorite pairs, and how they allow me to do what I need to do as a busy mom, all while looking pulled together and cute.

I’ve accumulated a pretty good collection of sneakers over the last few years and have a bunch of different styles, but the ones I always come back to are basic slip-on sneakers, like this Keds pair I picked up from Zappos. They’re great for wearing with jeans and shorts, but also simple enough that you can easily style them with dresses and skirts. They go with basically anything and everything.

I like to choose slip on sneakers that are simple and versatile, but also have little details that make them less basic, like the triple stacked sole and the metallic snake skin print. I’ve worn this pair non-stop since I got them, and love that I can slip in and out of them super easily, they don’t require socks, and they’re so comfortable. Being a mom has enough challenges and variables, so having a pair of shoes I can count on, that are comfy, and are also cute is pretty much all I can ask for!

  3. What size are you wearing in the dress? I always have a tough time with Target sizing in clothing.

Amen to “mom shoes!” I got some white converse, but not the tie up kind–they look like lace-ups, but the back of the shoe has an elastic so they are slip on. Anything hands-free is a winner!

Cute 🙂 You may also really like Everlane’s street shoe – they’re like a sleeker more sophisticated version of the slip-on sneaker, super comfy, and go with literally everything! (I don’t work for Everlane or anything, just love their shoes and love your style!)
