Last week, the day after we found out that little baby boy number two (!!) will be joining our family, we jetted off to Phoenix for a week with Philip’s parents. Since I’ve been back, I’ve been in full fledged nesting mode, with absolutely no desire to do anything but clean, organize, and re-design the boys room. Hence the blog silence.

I’ve had the nesting itch pretty much since the moment I found out I was pregnant, but I’ve warded it off, knowing I couldn’t really do anything until I found out the gender. Now that I know? There is no stopping it. And there is no time for anything else, obviously.

I’ll share paint colors, furniture purchases and fabric choices all in good time, but for now here are some (read: one million) pictures from our fabulous (albeit scorching) time in Arizona.

not a fan of being abandoned in the floaty, obviously
I know you’ve always wanted to see me in a tiny skirt. More on our tennis date later..
bike date
got to visit kaila! happy dance.

This looks like it was so much fun! I am dying to pick up tennis (it may be that I love the clothes…). Your family is just adorable. We are headed to Phoenix next week, can't wait after seeing all of your fun pictures!

Such sweet pictures – even the one of you in the tiny skirt. (Too bad we can't all look that good. sigh. LOL)

  6. So fun! Peanut's smile is adorable, all the time. But my favorite is his face in the pool and the floaty hahaha.

Looks like a fun trip! Peanut is so cute! And I'm very impressed you can play tennis. I recently found out how difficult it is.

I love the vacation pictures! Is that the maternity tankini you're wearing? Where did you get it? I'm struggling to find a cute maternity tankini that isn't huge.

Love your pics. My partners Mum and Sister were there last week too! All the way from Australia.

Fun trip! That is my town! I don't comment much but I do love to look at your blog and missed seeing new posts. But I just had my 2nd child (JUST 8 months ago… still feels like I just had her) and I get the nesting, excitement, and I'm sure it will only "get worse" as it gets closer. Good luck to you, so exciting!

I love all the pictures, you guys look like you had an awesome time, but I must say my favorite is the one where Peanut has little squinty eyes, he is so handsome 🙂
I have 3 girls and would have totally loved a little boy.
