This peplum top is quickly climbing the list to become one of my favorite tops in my closet. The fact that it’s sleeveless makes it so much more versatile too since wearing different shirts underneath it can totally change the look of it. Wearing it over a striped tee and with a gold belt was perfect for a dinner date to celebrate Philip’s 30th last week. I think I’ll try it with my gingham button up underneath it next!
p.s. Happy Mother’s Day yesterday! I’m so grateful for my boys who made me a mom, and for the amazing examples of motherhood all around me, including my angel mama, my grandmothers, my sister and sister-in-law, my mother-in-law, and too many friends to count!

I've been a reader for awhile now but hardly ever comment (hi!), and wanted to say that I really enjoy reading your blog and love your style. I know you recently moved to California (a dream!) and decorated your home, and I would love it if you would ever be interested in posting some of what you did, along with any home decorating tricks you've garnered. I was upset when I heard on the Today show that silver was the "in" for the season. So I was tickled pink to see you rockin' all that gold! I love the wedges, but what do you normally chase your boys in at the park? I'm having a hard time letting go of the gym shoes….
In the summer I wear sandals and in the winter I wear boots at the park. Keep the gym shoes at home 🙂
