In two weeks I go back to the Bridge Academy.

I took the summer off mainly because I, you know, had a baby. But also with all our trips and company, many classes would have been missed. However, now that life is returning to normal and we’re all on a pretty good schedule, I’m spending a good part of my time painting, and I’m really looking forward to going back to class. Even if it’s just once a week.

In the mean time, I’ve been working on a painting that Philip requested for his most recent birthday. Actually, he’s been asking for it for nearly a year, but I finally told him I’d do it for his birthday. Then I had a baby three weeks before his birthday, and well…it just didn’t happen.

They’re still not done, but I’m having fun trying my hand at a little geometric abstraction.

These are looking VERY cool! I love the arch idea too. Can't wait to see them when they're finished and hung up.
