GREEN DRESS | MADEWELL LOAFERS
A lot of areas of the country are headed back to school, and teachers are back in the classroom! As a teacher, dressing for warm weather while staying classroom appropriate can be difficult. Here are some hot weather teacher outfits to put together to keep you cool while teaching!
Hot weather teacher outfit: skirt and tee
This is an easy outfit that you can do in a lot of different ways! Try an A-line skirt with a ruffle sleeve tee, or try a midi skirt with a graphic tee, a pencil skirt with a blouse, or an athletic skirt with a school t-shirt. And, of course, choose your shoes depending on the rest of the outfit. Choose a sneaker for a more casual look, a flat or loafer for a more business casual feel, or a wedge or block heel for a more dressy look.
GREEN SKIRT | RUFFLE SLEEVE T-SHIRT | WHITE SNEAKERS
Hot weather teacher outfit: Easy Dress
A dress is always a good idea, and an easy one-and-done kind of outfit. If you’re sitting on the ground with little kids, get some biker shorts to wear underneath!
The Merrick White Collection dresses are super comfy and feel like you’re wearing pajamas, but look professional and nice. You can even step them up with a structured belt instead of the waist tie.
DRESS | FLATFORM SANDAL | EARRINGS
Hot weather teacher outfit: Cropped Wide Leg Pants + Blouse
Cropped wide leg pants are my go-to these days, and with a blouse and loafers, you have a nice business casual outfit. You could swap the loafers for flats or sneakers, and swap the blouse for a t-shirt if you wanted to dress it down!
WIDE LEG PANTS | BLOUSE | LOAFERS
Hot weather teacher outfit: Shorts and a top
Lots of you teachers have told me that you are allowed to wear shorts in the classroom, as long as they’re nice and a little longer. These ones from Boden are cute and would look great with a bodysuit, a blouse, or a t-shirt!
If you can’t wear shorts at your school, there are 4 other great options in this post for you!
LONG DRESS SHORTS | TOP | HEADBAND | FLAT SANDALS
Hot weather teacher outfit: Shorts and a top
If you need to wear dress pants to school, this pair is fantastic and comes in a bunch of colors. Try something bold and fun, or keep it neutral. Pair it with a short sleeved blouse and some comfy flats!
