Warning: this post is chock full of pictures…and chock full of me being thankful.

I’m thankful for “like father-like son” photos

I’m thankful for this little bundle of joy – one day we’ll have one of thems for ourselves, but for now we love her more than any other baby

I’m thankful Philip didn’t get too mad when he saw this picture (although he didn’t have the slightest memory of it)

I’m thankful for D and S hosting this big meal – so many dishes, so much mess, but so delicious.

I’m not too thankful for this picture – it looks like I have stumpy legs. Maybe I should not wear such dark jeans…

I’m thankful for this delicious meal – and that we didn’t have to eat around our 2’x4′ table at our house.

I’m thankful for these two making such an awesome son 🙂

And more of what I said before…

Hmmm…not so grateful for this photo: #1. I look pregnant #2. that light sort of took over the entire area #3. My mother-in-law’s eyes are closed and we only took one picture. So sorry.

I’m thankful for this dude. I like him.

I’m thankful we catch little moments of Philip’s “fatherly” instincts on camera every so often.

I’m thankful I got to spend a whole lot of time with my side of the family – and got to have lunch with Aunt Linda and Uncle Peter. I just love them.

I’m thankful we got to go to TWILIGHT…even if it wasn’t as good as I’d hoped.

Hope you all were thankful for your weekend, even if it was only that you got to stuff your face and get some time off work/school.

Giving Thanks For 4 Whole Days

  1. Darling Merrick! I’m so sad that we missed out on lunch with you family! I haven’t seen them in ages it seems like. I’m so glad you guys had a great thanksgiving! That little niece is adorable! (Nate and Kim are having a girl by the way – – little Ella Jane – isn’t that cute!?) Hooray for nieces!

Finally some pictures! Your table and food look delish, and you look great too! So nice to have both parents and in-laws around for the holidays.
