Last week Philip was out of town on a business trip, and the very worst part about him being away is how cold I am, all the time. He’s always gone during the workday every day, but at night without a third body in the house, it’s just colder. Consequently, I slept with about fourteen layers on (including a sweatshirt with the hood over my head, drawstring pulled), just to stay warm.
Then he got home and suddenly I was warm again. So I threw on a light breezy skirt and a fairly thin t-shirt. Bad idea. While taking these pictures it was probably twenty degrees in the shade. Do not be fooled by the smile on my face…I was on the verge of frostbite. Next photoshoot I’m wearing sweatpants and Ugg boots.
(just kidding, I don’t even own sweatpants OR Ugg boots…)
I know what you mean about a cold bed without your significant other. I love the midi that you made. Its so perfect, from the length to the color to the waistband. Also, the colored tights were a nice touch too!
Cute, cute! I love the skirt. I requested a similar one for Christmas!
That is the best use of colored tights I've seen yet! You and Janssen put me to shame in the style dept! In fact I was in Gap yesterday trying on clothes and thought, Hmmm… would Janssen and Merrick approve? Helped make some tough decisions.
I love this outfit!! I can't believe you made the skirt. I totally want one. I'm loving your outfits–I wish your pictures were bigger so I could see more of them! Sound creepy? Oh well. 😛
I especially love your hair in these pictures haha, beautiful! And you should really purchase some sweatpants…fabulous investment.
you ARE the cutest thing. and your outfits, hair, face is stunning. I definitely use my husband as a heater about all the time.
