Part of having good art is keeping your art “fresh.” No matter how good of a line you make, if you go over that good line 10 times, the line is no longer “fresh.” Get it?

I’m concerned that since I’m learning to approach a drawing a little more quickly, that with a five week drawing I could lose that freshness on week four or five. Or maybe I never had that freshness to begin with. Who knows.

Either way, I think this drawing is coming along nicely. I REALLY hope I don’t kill it over the next three weeks. I’ll keep you posted.
