Easter is only a few weeks away, but there’s still time to make yourself an Easter dress! It’s one of my favorite traditions and I’m so excited about my idea for this year’s dress. Hopefully I have at least a little of my waistline back so I can make it and fit into it by Easter!
Today for DIY Friday I’m sharing five of my favorite dresses that would be perfect for Easter. Plus, if you don’t know how to sew, snag The Modern Girl’s Guide to Sewing right here for 25% off (with code EASTER25 this week only!) so you can learn how to sew and impress everyone on Easter Sunday with your handmade dress.
Which one is your favorite?? If you make one and post about it on social media, make sure to tag me (@merricksart) so I can see!
Lovely dresses! The one for mother’s day is my fave 🙂

They are all so beautiful! It’s hard to pick among them, but I think the scalloped hem one might be my favourite! Would love to attempt to make it at some point, as I start learning to sew (which has been a goal of mine for way too long already)!
That pink dress is so lovely!
I love the “mama” dress!!! 🙂
Lime lace pencil dress is the winner!!! 🙂
I think the 1st and last one are my favorite, but they are all adorable! You are super talented. I’m not sure mine would turn as good haha
That scalloped pink dress is officially on my must-make list now. So cute! So perfect for spring!
By the way, I’m hosting a weekly favorites blogger linkup on my blog today. I’d love for you to come share your favorite post of the week!

I’m still obsessed with that contrast back dress, and that chartreuse dress! You’re seriously so talented!
I wish you sold the clothes you make.. they are so much cuter than anything found in stores!
I love all of the clothes you’ve made. You are one talented woman! 🙂
That first scalloped dress is so pretty! So classic and the shape is just lovely.
COFFEESLAG Color Filled Spring
I am on the hunt for the perfect dress for this summer and I cannot find anything in the stores currently. Everything is either too short, too ill-fitting, or the wrong color. You inspire me every week with your creations and i am determined to make my own! However, I am not an expert seamstress (saving my pennies to buy your course soon!!) but I would also not call myself inept- but I have never made clothes. I love all these dresses, especially the first 3! but I am curious as to what ones would be appropriate for my experience level.. any suggestions? and if not these ones, maybe any others you have shared tutorials on?
Thanks! especially for the inspiration to do something for myself
