In our color class, we’re learning how to mix paints to match what colors we see on the model. This is way harder than I thought it was going to be — it’s MUCH easier to match what I see in a photograph.
This week’s assignment was to paint the model with a colored background and see how that color affected the flesh tones. From my angle it didn’t really do much, but I still enjoyed the assignment and think the painting turned out pretty nicely.
