Setting the guy in your life up with some new clothes for Christmas is a great gift idea.
This clothes gift guide for men has some awesome (and tried and true) clothing items that any man should have in his closet. Whether you’re shopping for your dad, husband, boyfriend or any man, this list has some great options.
When it comes to holiday gifts (or gifts in general), I like to get things that are a little nicer…items that he wouldn’t normally buy for himself.
Clothing Gift Guide For Men:
- Lululemon Commission Pants
- My brother loves THESE LULULEMON DRESS PANTS and wears them often for work. Philip just got two pairs and will wear them for golf. They’re super comfortable and still look really nice and professional.
- Jogger Pants
- Philip just bought some of these joggers and they’re a really good fit and super comfortable but don’t look schlubby. They’re pricey, but they’re super high quality. They have a shorter fit and a longer fit and a tall fit. My husband is just under 5’11” and wears the shortest fit for a perfect ankle length.
- These ones are way more affordable, and although we haven’t tried them personally, they get amazing reviews.
- American Giant Hoodie
- This is the original clothing product that American Giant created and when I shared some women’s pieces from American Giant on my blog a few weeks ago, so many people told me their husband has this hoodie and it’s their favorite thing ever. I got one for Philip for Christmas! Code MERRICK gets you 20% off
- Enso Silicone ring
- These are wedding bands that are made of silicone so they’re really comfortable! They have tons of beautiful colors, including metallic so it looks like it’s made of metal. They’re super affordable at $40, and signing up for their newsletter gets you 10% off. Also, I found these ones for under $10 on amazon!
- Tommy John Pajamas
- Philip has the jogger lounge pants and the henley tops, and also a few other items from Tommy John. They’re pricey, but the quality is insanely good. We’ve each had a few pairs for two years and they still look almost brand new. They’re so lightweight and feel like you’re not even wearing anything — your man will LOVE them.
- Nice leather sneakers
- These leather sneakers are a perfect nice casual shoe option. They come in black leather or brown leather and are a classic shape and style.
- StitchFix Subscription
- If you’re not sure what to buy your man, a StitchFix subscription could be a great option! You fill out a style quiz and then they send a box and you only pay for what you keep.
- ThreadBeast Subscription
- This is another clothing subscription I’ve heard good things about.
- Patagonia jacket.
- These are the best, warmest jackets out there and will be something he can wear for years. Check out a bunch right here.
- Matching father/son ties.
- There are so many cute shops out there that make little boys’ ties and then matching dad ties. This would be super fun for my family with three boys — matching ties for all four of them! Our favorite handmade tie shop is Boon Ties, and you can get 15% off with code MERRICK15.
- Even better, get it embroidered on the back with a special message or word.
- Really nice socks.
- Stance and Bombas are both highly recommended brands and the quality is fantastic. I bought Philip these socks from Ralph Lauren last year and he said they’re his favorite dress socks he’s ever worn. They’re super affordable!
- Low cut athletic socks
- These are my husband’s FAVORITE socks for running and golfing. They’re super comfortable and hold up for ages.
- Ugg Slippers.
- These slippers have amazing reviews and are such good quality. I bought them for my husband last year and they don’t make his feet too hot.
- Allbirds Shoes
- Cloudflow Sneakers
- Philip and I both have these running sneakersand they’re fantastic. The toe box is a little wider, which is nicer on your toes (my toenails don’t get so beat up anymore!) and they’re very supportive and comfortable.
- Ray Bans
- Give him a classy pair of sunglasses that never go out of style. This pair is flattering on all men.
- A Nice Tie
- Never underestimate the power of a good tie. Get him a classy tie (also love this one), a fun tie, or holiday tie to add to his collection.
- Vuori Clothing
- This brand was highly recommended by you guys – I need to get some items for Philip! I’m eyeing this half-zip performance top.
- Leather satchel/laptop bag.
- Make going to work or school easier with a leather satchel for in his laptop or work papers. This one is beautiful and on sale!
- Fun dress socks.
- Add some fun socks like these Harry Potter ones as a stocking stuffer.
- Waterproof jacket.
- This rain jacket is so nice and comes six neutral colors.
- Custom tailored suit.
- It typically costs about $100 to get a suit tailored but it makes a huge difference. A tailored suit can make a $100 suit look like a $500 suit – seriously! Look up local tailors on Google, or ask your dry-cleaner for recommendations.
- Cufflinks.
- Any guy will look sharp and put together with a pair of cufflinks like these ones. You can also add a personal touch by personalizing these cufflinks with their initials.
- Leather belt.
- Dress shoes.
- These Allen Edmonds were Philip’s first designer pair, but these shoes are a similar style but more affordable. They are both perfect for church, work or date night. They come in both black and brown colors.
- Lingerie
- Ok, not clothes for him, but this is my favorite lingerie shop. Affordable, beautiful, and all styled on mannequins or flat lays instead of on women. This is a gift for you AND for him!
