I’m totally a baseball cap kind of girl, and I WANT to be a felt fedora hat girl, but I always feel a little uncomfortable in them. But I found this one that I actually love!

Fedora hats usually make me feel awkward.
I’m not sure what it is about fedora hats that usually makes me feel awkward — maybe I’ve watched Indiana Jones too many times? Or the California weather makes it feel like hats are completely ridiculous?
I don’t know.
I can wear scarves, fake glasses, bandanas, and many other accessories without batting an eye, but for some reason rimmed hats always make me feel like I’m trying too hard.
I found a felt fedora hat that I actually love!
I tried lots of different hats and styles and just found and bought THIS NEW FELT FEDORA HAT a few weeks ago to try out.
THE BRIM OF THIS HAT is smaller, which I think makes it a little easier for me to wear — some of those large brim hats are way too much for me. And so far I’m really liking THIS ONE!
I also ran across THIS FELT FEDORA UNDER $20 that seems to have a slightly bigger brim, but still not too big. I might try that one too and decide between them – I’ll keep you posted!
Do you wear felt fedora hats?
How do you feel about felt fedora hats for fall and winter? Or large brimmed hats in the summer? Are you a yay or a nay for this one?

I love me a good hat! I love this hat on you for sure and I really like this style of hat but it’s not something that you would see many people around here wearing. So I’m not sure I could make it work. I do wear floppy, wide brim hats in the summer and of course knit winter hats in the winter. I also like a straw panama hat in the spring!
I love a straw panama hat too! I think you’re right that it’s harder to wear them when it’s a style no one else wears in your city!
