25 Summer Outfit Ideas to Get You Through Scorching Hot August

August and September are usually the hottest months of the year for us. Here are some summer outfit ideas to help you get through these hot months until fall!

During the warm summer months, I think every girl needs a few go-to outfit to make getting ready easy. When I’m getting dressed in the morning, I find myself putting together the same combos over and over, and today I’m sharing my seven favorites!

JUMPSUITS

A jumpsuit is the best kind of one-stop-shop. It’s easy to toss on and go without any fuss.

SUMMER PANTS

Every closet needs a good pair of summer pants. You know, the kind that are basically like pajamas? They’re the best with a simple tee or top, a pair of sneakers or sandals, and maybe even a baseball cap thrown in there. I also love that they’re easy to dress up with heels and a blouse!

OVERALLS

I’m new to the overall trend, but I think they’re a great choice for summer. They’re cute and fun, and can be worn with tons of different tops underneath! I shared some different ways to style them in this post!

SKIRTS + TEES

If you’re not a shorts wearer, skirts are the best choice for beating the summer heat. A-line skirts are the best style for my body type (smaller waist, fuller hips), and they’re easy to pair with a simple tee and sandals for a really summery look.

For me, dresses are totally the way to go! Next up would be tees/tanks and a skirt. I bought that black and white jumpsuit and it is so cute and comfy but it is the most static-y thing EVER! Did you have this problem? I would love to be able to figure out how to eliminate the static but I almost feel like it might just be the fabric?

So weird — mine isn’t very static-y. Maybe run it through the dryer with an extra softener sheet and see if that helps??

I’ll give it a try…at least I know there is hope and it’s not just how it is. Thanks for the response, have a wonderful day!

An easy way to reduce fabric is to just rub a dryer sheet on the inside of your outfit!

Love this! Though do you have any hidden gems in the way of materntiy-wear? I am 6 mos preg in AZ and am struggling with feeling cute while not dying from the heat!

dresses! They’ll be your best friend! Try empire waisted ones so they’re fitted above your bump, and also bodycon ones that hug your cute baby bump figure. Also you can look under my “Style” tab on my menu bar at the top of my blog and click on “Maternity” to find some more inspiration! xx

The first time I saw a Tesla car, I was in awe of how gorgeous Tesla cars were! It’s a car of the future. Tesla is always pushing further by making a motorhome. But when I saw the prototypes of the Tesla Model S-based motor home, and to be honest, it isn’t as good looking as I thought it would be. I hope the actual motorhome would be better. It’s also funny to me that there’s this 150mph max speed for a motor home. Who would want to bring it to the track?Billet avion

Thank you so much for these ideas! They’re so great as the Vogue ideas!

  6. Your routine is perfect! I love your idea of saying, “Scriptures in … minutes!” We need to start doing that so it’s not a shock every time we say it haha
