black pea coat: christmas gift from my mom (macy’s), black lace dress: stolen from Kayla (altered — the before photos are coming later this week!), black belt: from another dress, black heels: target (shop), earrings: from my wedding, bracelet: no idea
On Saturday night we attended Philip’s company holiday/20th anniversary party. Before we left, I ran outside and took some outfit photos, then we rushed off to the party. There was amazing food (prime rib! salmon! stuffed chicken! cheesecake!), a photobooth, a candy bar, a lady taking everyone’s “prom photos,” and lots and lots of people. Everyone (except a few of us) got drunk and danced like fools (to our great entertainment), and then finally it was late and we were exhausted, so we went home.
Then yesterday after church, I came home and went to upload my photos, only to find out that they were gone. All the other photos on my card remained, but all outfit photos had vanished. So I threw my dress back on and went outside to retake them….but the camera wasn’t working. Every photo I took, no matter what I did, was out of focus. Finally I figured out the problem, got it to focus,  and after two photos, my battery died.
I went back inside, charged the battery for a few minutes, and then finally on my third try, I got some photos.  This fashion blogging thing is hard work!

I’m linking up with Kayla again this week for the 10 Day Challenge. Today is decade or region day. I think that black fur collared coat is totally twenties-inspired. Don’t you??

Also, do you remember my Little Black Dress post from a few weeks ago? Well today I’m over at Kristina J’s blog talking about it again, but going a lot more in-depth. Hop on over to her awesome blog and check it out!
