Last week, the day after we found out that little baby boy number two (!!) will be joining our family, we jetted off to Phoenix for a week with Philip’s parents. Since I’ve been back, I’ve been in full fledged nesting mode, with absolutely no desire to do anything but clean, organize, and re-design the boys room. Hence the blog silence.

I’ve had the nesting itch pretty much since the moment I found out I was pregnant, but I’ve warded it off, knowing I couldn’t really do anything until I found out the gender. Now that I know? There is no stopping it. And there is no time for anything else, obviously.

I’ll share paint colors, furniture purchases and fabric choices all in good time, but for now here are some (read: one million) pictures from our fabulous (albeit scorching) time in Arizona.

not a fan of being abandoned in the floaty, obviously
I know you’ve always wanted to see me in a tiny skirt. More on our tennis date later..

the face of a mischievous toddler about to pour water on the head of an unsuspecting grandma!
  • This looks like it was so much fun! I am dying to pick up tennis (it may be that I love the clothes…). Your family is just adorable. We are headed to Phoenix next week, can't wait after seeing all of your fun pictures!

  • ugh, i just love your blog so much (:

  • Peanut has the cutest smile! He always looks like he's having the time of his life ๐Ÿ™‚

    The Tiny Heart

  • It looks like you all had so much fun. The picture of Philip and Peanut is great!

  • Such sweet pictures – even the one of you in the tiny skirt. (Too bad we can't all look that good. sigh. LOL)

  • So fun! Peanut's smile is adorable, all the time. But my favorite is his face in the pool and the floaty hahaha.

  • Looks like a fun trip! Peanut is so cute! And I'm very impressed you can play tennis. I recently found out how difficult it is.

  • I love the vacation pictures! Is that the maternity tankini you're wearing? Where did you get it? I'm struggling to find a cute maternity tankini that isn't huge.

  • Love your pics. My partners Mum and Sister were there last week too! All the way from Australia.

  • Fun trip! That is my town! I don't comment much but I do love to look at your blog and missed seeing new posts. But I just had my 2nd child (JUST 8 months ago… still feels like I just had her) and I get the nesting, excitement, and I'm sure it will only "get worse" as it gets closer. Good luck to you, so exciting!

  • Fun trip and love the pics!

  • Girl, you are GLOWING!

  • Looks like you guys had an amazing time! These photos are too cute, and LOVE your braided hair in that last pic ๐Ÿ™‚

    The Other Side of Gray

  • I love all the pictures, you guys look like you had an awesome time, but I must say my favorite is the one where Peanut has little squinty eyes, he is so handsome ๐Ÿ™‚
I have 3 girls and would have totally loved a little boy.

  • I loved seeing you, I hate that picture of me, but loved seeing you two!

  • I'm so jealous you got to see Kaila! I'm dying over that picture of Peanut about to pour the water on his grandma's head. Love it!
