Time for this week’s dinner ideas! We had a super fun pre-Halloween week for our family and we were busy with activities, but still made some great meals.
Our weekly menu will give you some good dinner ideas
Time for this week’s dinner ideas! It was a cool and chilly week in Dallas so we had lots of warm, comforting meals that were family favorites.
Here’s a quick review of our weekly dinners:
Monday: Chicken Noodle Soup
Tuesday: Leftovers
Wednesday: Ground Beef Tacos
Thursday: Sausage and Broccoli Pasta
Friday: Church Party
Saturday: Family Date Night
Sunday: Cafe Rio Burritos
Sunday Dessert: Churros and Ice Cream
Chicken Noodle Soup
It’s been a cold and rainy week, and this was the perfect soup for a rainy night. I put it in the crockpot and cooked the chicken all day, and then added the veggies and noodles later so they didn’t get mushy. It was delicious!
Ground Beef Tacos
Wednesday was my middle son’s birthday and he requested ground beef tacos for his birthday dinner. Super simple, and a perfect easy weeknight meal.
Sausage and Broccoli Pasta
This is one of our family’s favorite meals – it’s easy, healthy, and delicious. I’ve been making it for years.
Cafe Rio Burritos
This is one of our favorite recipes that I’ve been making for years. It’s pretty time intensive, but worth the effort and makes amazing leftovers.
Churros and Ice Cream
We got a box from San Diablo Churros and we’re making them at home for Sunday dessert! They have the coolest little at-home kits and they’re so easy to make and so delicious. It would make a fun gift!
