Time for this week’s dinner ideas! It was a really busy week with a lot of events, but I loved the time we had to eat together at home.

Our weekly menu will give you some good dinner ideas

Time for this week’s dinner ideas! While we had a lot more meals out/leftovers than normal, I still wanted to share what a busy week of dinners looks like for us.

Here’s a quick review of our weekly dinners:

MondayHamburgers + Roasted Green Beans

The boys requested hamburgers this week, and typically I would make them with fries, but after a week of Thanksgiving dinner and lots of other big meals, I went with leftover green beans and roasted them up for a slightly healthier side dish. Yum!

Tuesday: Breakfast Burritos

These are a super easy dinner that I make often. Everyone loves them! I don’t really use a recipe — just ground sausage, scrambled eggs, and cheese, with a little bit of salsa.

Wednesday: Tortellini Sausage Soup

This is one of our all time favorite soups. It’s hearty and delicious and easy to toss together. Perfect for soup season!

Thursday: Turkey Noodle Soup (leftovers)

I made turkey noodle soup with the leftover turkey (and homemade broth from the turkey carcass) after Thanksgiving, and we had a giant pot of it, so we’re doing leftovers to get through it!

Friday: Order in Pizza

Saturday: Barbacoa Tacos

Usually we eat out or order in on Saturdays, but since we ordered pizza on Friday, we did crockpot tacos for Saturday dinner. I love a meal that can cook all day and be ready in the evening!

Sunday: Short Rib Bolognese with homemade noodles

I haven’t made this recipe in a while, and it’s been a while since I made homemade noodles! This is a great Sunday dinner!

Sunday Dessert: Chocolate Scotcheroos

One of our favorite family desserts!

Weekly Menu, November 4-10

Time for this week’s dinner ideas! This week’s meals were perfectly easy, quick, and delicious for a busy schedule!

Our weekly menu will give you some good dinner ideas!

This week my husband PW and I have been out of town. My parents were staying with the kids while we were away, and I made this menu for my mom filled with things that would be easy for her to throw together and the kids were guaranteed to eat. She said she didn’t care what I put on here – she could follow any recipe – so I chose a few tried and true favorites. If you’re going out of town and need an easy menu for your parents or babysitter to make, these might be good options for you. Or they’re just great for an easy week of cooking.

Here’s a quick review of our weekly dinners:

Sunday: Blackened Salmon, Caesar Salad, Rolls

My boys love blackened salmon, so I knew this would be a win for everyone if my mom made it and the boys all gobbled it up. My dad is a huge fan of salmon as well so this was loved by everyone! I had her serve it with a bagged Caesar salad and homemade rolls (she loves to make rolls)!

Monday: Waffles, Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, and Smoothies

This is our favorite waffle recipe, and everyone loves breakfast for dinner! This was a quick and easy dinner that my mom could get on the table after a busy day.

Tuesday: Turkey Melt with Cheddar, Spinach, and Bacon with potatoes and fruit

I love making a sandwich for dinner on busy nights, and this one was easy! I don’t have a panini maker, but we use the waffle iron and it works very well.

Wednesday: Air Fryer Chicken Thighs, Broccoli Homemade Rolls

My father in law came for dinner as usual on Wednesday night, even though we were out of town, and I had my mom make these easy air fryer chicken thighs. They’re so delicious and are done in 20 minutes! She served with steamed broccoli and homemade rolls.

Thursday: Creamy Italian Sausage Pasta, homemade rolls, fruit

This is an easy and delicious pasta dish that everyone likes It has an amazing, creamy sauce, and Italian sausage. Delish!

Friday: English Muffin Pizzas, Caesar Salad, Fruit

My mom used to make these all the time when I was a kid and we loved them! It’s just an English muffin as the crust, and then add pizza sauce, cheese, and whatever toppings you’d like, and then cook in the oven. She served with another caesar salad bag and fruit.

Saturday: Hamburgers and Frozen Crinkle Fries, Fruit

The boys love hamburgers, and this is an easy meal that you can make on a weekend when they were running from one sporting event to the next. She served with crinkle fries and fruit.
