Time for this week’s dinner ideas! It was a really busy week with a lot of events, but I loved the time we had to eat together at home.

Our weekly menu will give you some good dinner ideas

Time for this week’s dinner ideas! While we had a lot more meals out/leftovers than normal, I still wanted to share what a busy week of dinners looks like for us.

Here’s a quick review of our weekly dinners:

Monday: Leftovers

Tuesday: Shredded Beef Tacos

Wednesday: Free Choice

Thursday: Charity Event

Friday: Mavericks Game

Saturday: BBQ Chicken Pizza

Sunday: Lasagana

Sunday Dessert: Ooey Gooey Butter Cake Bars

Turkey Noodle Soup

On Sunday last week, we made a traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinner since we were in Mexico for Thanksgiving. We always do turkey soup with the leftover turkey, and it’s the best!

BBQ Pizza

This is our favorite pizza. We put grilled chicken, BBQ sauce, frozen corn, and fresh jalapeños on it.

Lasagna

I don’t make lasagna very often cause it’s pretty involved, but it’s a good Sunday night dinner. This one is delicious and pretty simple!

Ooey Gooey Butter Cake Bars

This is one of my all time favorite desserts. It’s pretty easy to make and super rich and filled with butter (hence the name) but it is SO delicious. If you’ve never tried it, you must!

Weekly Menu

Time for this week’s dinner ideas! This week’s meals were easy, quick, and delicious for the whole family!

Our weekly menu will give you some good dinner ideas!

This week we continued our summer plan of having each boy in charge of one day of cooking per week, and they made some great dinners! Our other dinners were yummy as well and I can’t wait to try the Sunday dessert linked below later today!

Here’s a quick review of our weekly dinners:

Monday: Bacon Wrapped Chicken and Green Beans

This was my oldest’s dinner choice this week. These were sweet and salty and delicious and easy enough for a young teen to make! He served with steamed green beans.

Tuesday: Leftovers

Wednesday: Baked Ground Beef Taquitos

This was my middle son’s choice for dinner, and I felt like making my own corn tortillas might make them a little less crumbly. We’ve made these before and the tortillas always crumble apart. So I made my own corn tortillas and although the recipe was super simple, rolling them all out each time, cooking the tortilla, and then assembling the taquito, was a labor of love and they STILL crumbled. So I guess stick with the store-bought ones for this one and just accept that they’ll be crumbly.

Thursday: Breakfast Sandwiches

These were my youngest son’s choice for dinner this week and he helped me assemble them, which was a perfect age appropriate dinner for him. These were tasty and everyone gobbled them up!

Friday: Pizza

We make homemade pizza every Friday, and this is our go-to pizza dough. Quick and easy and delicious.

Saturday: Friend’s BBQ

We got invited to a BBQ with some friends from Philip’s work, so we spent Saturday evening there. No cooking for me!

Sunday: Beef Pot Roast

On Sundays I love having a crockpot meal that I can toss in the slow cooker in the morning and not think about it til dinner time. This one is a classic and everyone’s happy with meat and potatoes and other veggies. I always serve with a baguette.

Sunday Dessert: Frozen Lemon Dessert

I saw this recipe on the Food Nanny’s instagram page and had to make it. I’m hoping it’s good!
