Here is this week’s menu! We love sharing our dinner ideas and this week’s recipes were a hit!

Our weekly menu will give you some good dinner ideas

Time for this weeks dinner ideas! We traveled home from Hawaii in the middle of the week (can’t wait to share all about it!) so we kept our few nights at home this week simple and easy, with a delicious family favorite meal for Father’s Day.

Omelets

We’re trying to ease back into normal life after a week in Hawaii, so I kept it really simple in my first day back to cooking — omelets. I had leftover ham in the freezer from Easter, so I used the rest of that up, plus grilled some veggies and threw those in as well!

BBQ Chicken Pizza

Yep, we’re having BBQ pizza again. We were in Hawaii last week and missed it, so of course we have to have it. It’s our favorite ever. Maybe we’ll try a new pizza topping next week. Maybe.

Muddy Buddies (Puppy Chow)

This is our family’s favorite dessert. It’s a great one for movie nights on Friday — we toss it in big plastic cups and scoop it out with a spoon!

However, we ALWAYS do it with milk chocolate chips (we aren’t semi sweet fans over here..we like the rich real deal) and we call it “puppy chow.”

Cafe Rio Burritos

I’m making this for Sunday dinner and it’s always a winner. You have to start cooking the meat almost 24 hours in advance, but besides that, the recipe is super simple. Just toss everything in the crockpot and go.

Cilantro Lime Rice

You can’t have Cafe Rio burritos without some cilantro lime rice! This recipe is easy and delish.

Homemade Tortillas

I used to always buy the uncooked tortillas from the grocery store (which are delicious), but when I discovered this recipe last year, we’ve completely converted over to them. Homemade tortillas are so easy and this recipe is a no fail!

Oven Baked S’mores

We’re making these for Sunday dessert tonight — they look so tasty!

Traveling with kids can be a rewarding and memorable experience, but it can also be challenging. Research your destination and plan your itinerary in advance, taking into consideration the needs and interests of your children. Make sure to book child-friendly accommodations and transportation options, and pack plenty of snacks, toys, and activities to keep your kids entertained during travel. Africa Best Safari Programs
