Time for this week’s dinner ideas! It was a really busy week with a lot of events, but I loved the time we had to eat together at home.

Our weekly menu will give you some good dinner ideas

Time for this week’s dinner ideas! While we had a lot more meals out/leftovers than normal, I still wanted to share what a busy week of dinners looks like for us.

Here’s a quick review of our weekly dinners:

Monday: Leftovers

Tuesday: Shredded Beef Tacos

Wednesday: Free Choice

Thursday: Charity Event

Friday: Mavericks Game

Saturday: BBQ Chicken Pizza

Sunday: Lasagana

Sunday Dessert: Ooey Gooey Butter Cake Bars

Turkey Noodle Soup

On Sunday last week, we made a traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinner since we were in Mexico for Thanksgiving. We always do turkey soup with the leftover turkey, and it’s the best!

BBQ Pizza

This is our favorite pizza. We put grilled chicken, BBQ sauce, frozen corn, and fresh jalapeños on it.

Lasagna

I don’t make lasagna very often cause it’s pretty involved, but it’s a good Sunday night dinner. This one is delicious and pretty simple!

Ooey Gooey Butter Cake Bars

This is one of my all time favorite desserts. It’s pretty easy to make and super rich and filled with butter (hence the name) but it is SO delicious. If you’ve never tried it, you must!

Weekly Menu, July 23 – 30

Time for this week’s dinner ideas! This week’s meals were perfectly easy, quick, and delicious for a busy summer schedule!

Our weekly menu will give you some good dinner ideas!

This week was extra busy, so our meals were both easy and yummy! The boys are still in charge of one dinner each week as part of our focus on learning more life skills this summer and they made some great recipes. This week we ate a mix of delicious recipes the boys picked and other family favorites.

Here’s a quick review of our weekly dinners:

Sunday: Lasagna

This is one of our favorite Sunday dinners. It’s a super simple recipe that can be thrown together quickly and then cooked during a Sunday afternoon. I always use Rao’s marinara sauce from the grocery store and that makes it super easy and it’s so tasty.

Sunday Dessert: Roasted Peaches

We had some delicious peaches from Trader Joe’s this week, so I had to make this! I created my own crumble with melted butter, flour, brown and white sugar, and salt, and toasted it in the oven at 400F for about 15 minutes, and it was the perfect topping with vanilla ice cream.

Monday: Crepes

Sanny was in charge of Monday’s meal and he chose to make crepes. He did a great job mixing the ingredients and setting the table with all the different crepe toppings, and then I actually cooked them. This is a good and easy recipe!

Tuesday: Leftovers

Wednesday: Corn Chowder

Fos was in charge of Wednesday’s meal and he chose corn chowder. This one is great for summer cause it’s not such a heavy soup and it’s packed with yummy veggies.

Thursday: Work Dinner for Mom and Dad

Friday: BBQ Chicken Pizza

We make pizza every Friday night, and our go-to is BBQ chicken! We always use this dough recipe and it’s super easy and delicious.

Saturday: Family Date Night

Sunday: Pork Tacos

This is one of our favorite Sunday dinners and easy to toss in the crockpot and cook all day. I’ve been making this for years and it’s always a crowd pleaser.
