Time for this week’s dinner ideas! We had a busy week and everything I made this week was a repeat of a family favorite.
Our weekly menu will give you some good dinner ideas
Time for this week’s dinner ideas! All the meals this week were repeats of some of our family favorites. We eat these meals a lot, and never get sick of them.
Here’s a quick review of our weekly dinners:
I’m going to add this little overview every week so you can see our true full weekly menu to get dinner ideas.

Wednesday: Chicken Cacciatore with Bread
Thursday: Crepes with Bacon and Crispy Potatoes
Friday: BBQ Chicken Pizza
Saturday: Date night for Philip and me, quesadillas for the boys
Sunday: Smoky Pork Tinga Tacos
Sunday Dessert: Double Chocolate Cookies with Peanut Butter M&Ms
Shrimp Boil
This week I asked my kids what they wanted to eat, and my oldest requested shrimp boil. This is one of our family‘s favorites, and it’s so easy to put everything on one pan and toss it in the oven.
Fry Bread
This recipe is an easy weeknight meal. Start to finish, it’s about 25 minutes of prep time. Also, everyone can personalize them how they’d like, which makes everybody happy around the dinner table!
Chicken Cacciatore
With the start of the new year, I’m trying to do a crockpot meal every Wednesday, because Wednesdays are our busiest days. It’s the best feeling to have dinner ready to go when 5 o’clock rolls around…this recipe is packed with veggies, super clean, and so delicious.
Crepes with Bacon and Crispy Potatoes
My nine-year-old requested crapes this week, so we made them for dinner one night. We do cheese and lunchmeat, yogurt and jam, peanut butter and honey, and Nutella with strawberries. So yummy. I made them with a big batch of crispy potatoes.
BBQ Chicken Pizzas
Friday night is pizza night at our house! Barbecue chicken with jalapeños and corn is our very favorite. I use this pizza dough recipe from Mel’s Kitchen Café.
Smoky Pork Tinga Tacos
I love making crockpot meals on Sunday so I don’t spend my whole day in the kitchen. These tacos are some of our very favorites. They are so flavorful, and you can just dump everything in the crockpot and go.
Double Chocolate Cookies with Peanut Butter M&M’s
This is a super quick and easy dessert recipe that I’ve been making for over a decade. We just use devil’s food cake mix, one egg, and a mix of softened butter and vegetable oil until you reach a cookie dough consistency. Then fold in the M&Ms. We cook them at 350 for about nine minutes.
Thanks for sharing! I get stump cooking and you always inspire me with fab recipes!
