Time for this week’s dinner ideas! This week’s meals were perfectly easy, quick, and delicious for a busy schedule!
Our weekly menu will give you some good dinner ideas!
This week we made a simple, delicious meals that were a hit for the whole family!
Here’s a quick review of our weekly dinners:
Monday: Leftovers
Tuesday: Corn Chowder
I keep putting corn chowder on the menu and then something comes up and I don’t have time to make it! This week I ACTUALLY made it. My middle son has been begging for it. I like to make the bacon super crispy and put it on the side so we can drop it right into the soup when it’s served, so it stays crispy in the soup.
Wednesday: Crepes
This is a super easy weeknight meal that everyone loves! We make sweet and savory ones — just cheese and lunch meat for savory, and then peanut butter and honey, Nutella and fruit, or yogurt and fruit for sweet!
Thursday: Tortellini
We got home late on Thursday from sports, so I just grabbed some frozen tortellini out of the freezer and cooked it up with sauce. Super easy and we had a semi-homemade dinner ready in no time.
Friday: Sausage and Mushroom Pizza and Fresh Cut Veggies
We do pizza night every Friday, so this week we did sausage and mushroom pizza. Easy and yummy!
Saturday: Date Night
Sunday: Green Chile
I’ve been making this recipe for a few years and it’s one of our all time favorites. It’s super tender pork with the most flavorful, delicious sauce. I make homemade tortillas to serve with the meat. If you don’t want it super spicy, just remove all the seeds from the peppers before roasting them!
