Time for this week’s dinner ideas! It was a really busy week with a lot of events, but I loved the time we had to eat together at home.

Our weekly menu will give you some good dinner ideas

Time for this week’s dinner ideas! While we had a lot more meals out/leftovers than normal, I still wanted to share what a busy week of dinners looks like for us.

Here’s a quick review of our weekly dinners:

Monday: Leftovers

Tuesday: Shredded Beef Tacos

Wednesday: Free Choice

Thursday: Charity Event

Friday: Mavericks Game

Saturday: BBQ Chicken Pizza

Sunday: Lasagana

Sunday Dessert: Ooey Gooey Butter Cake Bars

Turkey Noodle Soup

On Sunday last week, we made a traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinner since we were in Mexico for Thanksgiving. We always do turkey soup with the leftover turkey, and it’s the best!

BBQ Pizza

This is our favorite pizza. We put grilled chicken, BBQ sauce, frozen corn, and fresh jalapeños on it.

Lasagna

I don’t make lasagna very often cause it’s pretty involved, but it’s a good Sunday night dinner. This one is delicious and pretty simple!

Ooey Gooey Butter Cake Bars

This is one of my all time favorite desserts. It’s pretty easy to make and super rich and filled with butter (hence the name) but it is SO delicious. If you’ve never tried it, you must!

Weekly Menu August 7-13

Time for this week’s dinner ideas! This week’s meals were perfectly easy, quick, and delicious for a busy summer schedule!

Our weekly menu will give you some good dinner ideas!

It’s our last week in the condo before we move into the new house so we used up a bunch of ingredients we had and made simple, yummy meals. I’m excited to try the peach dessert tonight and see how it turns out!  This week our meals were simple and delicious!

Here’s a quick review of our weekly dinners:

Monday: Leftovers

Tuesday: Spicy Pork Tinga Tacos

I was going to make this on Sunday, but our groceries were delayed so I didn’t have the ingredients. So I made it on Tuesday and it was definitely more than our average week day meal, but it’s one of our favorite recipes! Definitely worth making.

Wednesday: Native American Fry Bread

My boys love this recipe! It’s super easy to make and the fry bread can be used for the tacos with ground beef, and you can save some to eat with butter and honey for dessert!

Thursday: Breakfast Burritos

We all love a yummy breakfast burrito! I didn’t have any tortillas, so I made my own. They’re easier than you think! I use this recipe.

Friday: BBQ Chicken Pizza

Our Friday tradition! We usually make BBQ chicken pizza and use this pizza crust recipe.

Saturday: Mom and Dad Date Night

Sunday: Leftovers

It’s our last night at the condo on Sunday so we’re just using up what we have!

Sunday Dessert: Frozen Lemon Dessert

We got invited to a friend’s house for dessert on Sunday night, and we’re all making peach treats. I’m making these lemon bars, but I’m trying them with peach extract instead of lemon juice…we’ll see if they turn out!
