Last week we cooked a ton, so this week was lots of leftovers. But also it’s General Conference weekend so there is plenty of baking going on over here.

It’s another weekly menu! Here’s what we made.

This weekend is our church’s General Conference. It’s a worldwide televised broadcast held every six months where our church leaders teach us for a whole weekend. Since the conference is 10 hours of television over two days, there’s always a need for some good food.

General Conference cinnamon rolls are a must. This year we did half cinnamon rolls, half raspberry rolls. I’m sharing all the recipes below, plus some other dinner recipes we made this week.

Shrimp Boil

We do these weekly sheet pan meals every week and they’re a great way to use up veggies that are going bad.

The sausage and shrimp boil is a great base, and then you can add whatever veggies you need. This week we added mushrooms and broccoli to it and it was delicious.

Ham and corn chowder with potatoes

This is a really simple and quick recipe for a weeknight. It’s a good comfort soup, but it’s not too heavy!

I had leftover ham, so I swapped the bacon for ham this time. It’s delicious both ways and my kids loved it.

Calzones with salami and spinach

These are a good alternative to pizza on Friday. I love it with spinach, but I leave the spinach and squash out for my boys. We also add pepperoni or salami inside and dip in marinara sauce. My boys love these!

Cinnamon rolls

Last General Conference, I made THESE CINNAMON ROLLS from Mels Kitchen Cafe. They were honestly the best cinnamon rolls I’d ever made in my life. So soft and fluffy, perfect sugary middle…honestly amazing.

This year, I decided to make half cinnamon rolls, half something else. I ran across a Raspberry Roll recipe (the recipe is next), so I made this dough and then made the raspberry filling for half of it.

We used THIS FROSTING RECIPE on top.

Raspberry Sweet Rolls

As I mentioned above, I used THIS RECIPE FOR THE DOUGH and then used the raspberry filling and baking directions from THIS RASPBERRY SWEET ROLL RECIPE.

WHOA, guys, these are unbelievably amazing. You have to try these.
