It’s General Conference weekend, and that means our weekly menu has soups and sandwiches, but also CINNAMON ROLLS. I’m sharing our favorite recipe and how we tweak it to make it even better.

Our weekly menu will give you some good dinner ideas

We’ve had a busy week, but we’re laying low this weekend while we watch General Conference from our church. It’s a worldwide weekend broadcast with messages from our church leaders and so much goodness and hope and love (you can see it HERE if you’re interested).

But it also means we’re making our traditional General Conference cinnamon rolls in this week’s weekly menu.

We also have a good soup, crockpot sandwiches, and more on this menu.

Pasta Soup with Sausage

This was a new soup recipe, and was quick and easy to make with ingredients I already had lying around. Definitely recommend!!

Proscuitto and Peas Pasta

I love a good pasta recipe, and this one is delicious and kid friendly. Also so easy to make!

Carnitas Tacos

We always love a good taco dinner. Crispy carnitas pork is my favorite.

I made our favorite homemade tortillas, and served with fresh cheese, avocado, and salsa. Yum!

BBQ Pulled Pork Pizza

On Fridays we have pizza! This is our current favorite pizza, with pulled pork, cilantro, red onions, and of course crispy onions on top.

I always use THIS PIZZA DOUGH RECIPE.

Cinnamon Rolls

This weekend is General Conference for my church. It’s a worldwide broadcast full of inspirational and uplifting messages from the leaders of our church. You can check it out right here if you’re interested and need some peace and hope in this crazy world!

Since we watch it on TV, and it’s 10 hours long throughout Saturday and Sunday, it’s tradition to make cinnamon rolls.

Last year I made a batch with half raspberry rolls (using the filling from THIS RECIPE) and cinnamon rolls using THIS RECIPE. And I’m for sure doing that again.

Crockpot French Dip Sandwiches

I love making crockpot meals on Sunday. This is a yummy and super easy one — just cook the meat all day, and then put inside some toasty bread with cheese!
