I’ve been loving being in the kitchen lately! It’s been so fun to try new recipes, and these are some that ended up on our weekly menu this week. Try these if you need some dinner ideas!

Need some dinner ideas? These are a few recipes we used this week.

This was a fun week of cooking with lots of new dinner ideas. I made Mexican corn tacos, a really good gnocchi soup, the most delicious BBQ chicken pizza, and more. Check them out!

Here’s what I cooked this week:

Gnocchi Chicken Soup – Olive Garden Copy Cat recipe

I’ve never had this soup at Olive Garden, but it looked delicious and was super easy to make. The kids loved the gnocchi too!

Pea and Pancetta Pasta

I love a good pasta recipe, and with the thick, salty pork, this one was so good. The recipe calls for peas, but I added asparagus since they were a good deal this week at the store and they added a little more green to the recipe.

Mexican Street Corn Chicken Tacos

I really love mexican corn, with chili powder, lime, and Mexican cheese. So this recipe was amazing. You could grill your chicken on the BBQ grill, but I just did mine on the stove in a pan.

The boys loved this too (although we had to add ranch for a certain 4 year old…)

BBQ Chicken Pizza

One of my summer goals is to make a new kind of pizza every week. We’ve been in the same rut of pepperoni for the boys and bacon mushroom for Philip and me. As much as we love that one, I’m so excited to try some new recipes.

This week I made BBQ chicken pizza and it was delicious!! This recipe is simple and quick. We also added crispy onions and some cold BBQ sauce drizzled on top once it came out of the oven. SO GOOD.

Also I used THIS RECIPE for our crust, not flatbread like the recipe calls for.

Slow Cooker Chile Verde

Chile Verde is one of Philip’s favorite Mexican recipes ever. He found this recipe and we’re making it tonight. Hoping it turns out!

S’mores Puppy Chow

Puppy chow (or muddy buddies) is one of our favorite dessert recipes. This week we’re mixing it up with a s’mores twist with marshmallows and golden grahams!
