I’ve been in the mood to try some new recipes this week! We had an amazing Italian wedding soup, a really good cajun sausage meal in the crockpot, and more in our weekly menu. Try these if you need some dinner ideas.

Need some dinner ideas? These are a few recipes we used this week.

Sometimes I get the cooking bug and want to try all new recipes. This weekly menu was one of those kinds of weeks and I’m excited to share all these really good new recipes with you. Give these a go if you need some dinner ideas!

Here’s what I cooked this week:

Chicken noodle soup

An old favorite — can’t ever go wrong with chicken noodle soup!

Italian wedding soup

Philip found this recipe on Pinterest and it was amazing. Super flavorful and hearty, and felt like comfort food without being too heavy.

Cajun sausage with green beans

This was an easy recipe and one that everyone gobbled up!

Kale Pesto Pizza

This week I decided to make a different kind of pizza. I still made the regular cheese and pepperoni for the boys, but this one was for me. I didn’t have kale, so I swapped it for spinach and it was super good!

New Orleans red beans and rice

This is Philip’s favorite dinner. It’s super easy to just toss it in the crockpot and you have an amazing dinner a few hours later!

My recommendation is to add the sausage in the last hour of cooking. When it cooks the whole time, it starts to fall apart and isn’t as good.
