This week we made a couple new recipes for our weekly menu. Carne Asada tacos, a really easy crockpot cajun sausage, and we celebrated Philip’s birthday with nutella butter cake.
This week’s menu has some amazing new recipes!
Philip’s birthday was on Friday, so we tried a new chocolate cake recipe, we made some carne asada tacos, and we had a few other tried and true favorites.
These are all the recipes we made this week.
This is one of our favorite soups ever. It’s easy to make and so flavorful. My kids love it too!
Breakfast burritos are one of our favorite easy family dinners. We add tater tots to ours, rather than potatoes, and they’re delicious.
This week was Philip’s birthday and this was his requested cake! We love the classic St. Louis original Butter Cake, but wanted to try something different.
I’ve got to be honest, it was not as good as the traditional butter cake. It was like a really good brownie, but not the same amazing flavor of butter cake.
BUT — her recipe said it was better the second day, and although I didn’t eat any the second day, Philip did confirm that it was much better on day 2. So make a day early if you make it!
