Outfit Details:

Varsity Jacket (wearing size XS), White Tee, Old Navy Distressed Jeans, Ecco White Sneakers, Tory Burch Black Quilted Bag, Karen Walker Sunglasses

When it comes to outerwear, I’m all about classic pieces that will last for a lot of years and never go out of style. Like a fitted leather jacket, or a navy peacoat.

But every once in a while a trend comes along that I just can’t resist. The varsity jacket trend happening this fall is one of those.

I didn’t play any sports in high school (does that surprise you?), so I never owned a varsity jacket, and honestly had no interest because they seemed so bulky and unflattering. But now, fifteen years later, they’re classy and fitted and super chic.

They’re great to wear with a tee and sneakers in the fall, but I totally love the idea of wearing it with a bodycon dress and ankle boots for date night. I’m totally going to try it.

You could also wear it with black jeans, or even structured pixie pants and a button down to add a little casual flair to your work wear.

This one is currently sale, and I found a few other favorites and linked them below!

When it comes to outerwear, I’m all about classic pieces that will last for a lot of years and never go out of style. Like a tailored leather jacket, or a navy peacoat.

The one I’m wearing is currently on sale, but I also found a few under $40, like this black and white one, this gray plaid one, and this baby blue one.

I like the idea of a varsity jacket, it’s similar to a bomber just a little more sporty. I didn’t play sports either but love to watch them. This jacket would be so cute with a leather baseball cap.

I really like the varsity jacket trend for fall! The black and gray one you’re wearing looks cool and stylish. It goes well with the white tee, distressed jeans, white sneakers, black quilted bag, and sunglasses. I like that you usually prefer classic outerwear, but decided to try something different with the VARSITY JACKET. It’s great that they’re now more fitted and chic. You gave some nice ideas for how to wear it, like with a casual outfit or even for a dressier occasion. It’s also nice that you found affordable options for people. Overall, your blog post is informative and well-written. Keep it up!
