The longer I’m a mom, the more important my momiform becomes. When I had my first baby, my outfits were kind of all or nothing — either super kid friendly, or not at all. But as time has gone on I’ve discovered how to merge the two and have a closet full of multi-purpose pieces that can work for everyday mom life and also church, dates, events, work, etc.
There are three things I look for in these kinds of momiform pieces:
  • Comfort. You can’t ever have enough comfort when you’re a mom of busy little boys.
  • Versatility. I’m always looking for pieces I can wear with my boys during the day, but also dress them up.
  • Style. Even as a mom with little kids, there’s no reason you have to sacrifice good style.

I try to keep you guys in the know about brands that accomplish all three of these things, and I just discovered Crocs. Well, okay…we’ve all know about Crocs forever, but although I had always heard that they were insanely comfortable, they were absolutely not my style and I wasn’t going to sacrifice style just for a pair of super comfortable shoes. But they just launched their new summer line and holy cow, I am super impressed. I love when brands listen to trends and work to make their pieces appealing to a wider audience, and Crocs has done just that. These wedges are the perfect momiform shoe, but also easy to dress up for church or work. They’re neutral and simple so they’re easy to style and go with everything, and they are insanely comfortable and feel like I’m walking on pillows — they’re so soft, and so incredibly lightweight. I’ve been wearing mine a bunch lately and they’re perfect those days you’re on the go and need comfort, but still want to look put together. They have lots more cute shoes in their new collection — I’m loving these rubber flats (my friend has them and raves about them!), and these little jelly sandals are so darling I picked up a pair of them for summer!

Crocs is generously providing 20% off to all my readers with code Merrick20 — hurry and snag yourself a pair. I’d get these ones or these ones if I were you.

Hi! So your wedges are the tumbleweed color? They look much lighter in your pics than the tan color on the crocs site. Just checking. Thanks!

Those wedges are really cute! I didn’t know Crocs made anything besides their “classic” clog style.

I am a long time follower of yours, but don’t really comment. I can’t believe that these are Crocs! I have a problem with my feet now and have been trying to find shoes, specifically a wedge that would be cute and comfortable to take on vacation. I just ordered these so hoping they work out! Thanks for telling us about them and always having beautiful and affordable style! 🙂
