A sweater blazer is one of my favorite layers for fall. It’s comfy like a cardigan, but chic like a blazer, and great for dressing up or down. Here are four ways to wear one.

Trying to figure out how to wear a sweater blazer?

Sweater blazers are the best fall layer — do you own one? They basically feel like a sweatshirt, but look like a blazer. So comfortable!! If you don’t own one, you should for sure consider adding one to your closet.

They make any outfit look more chic, and can easily be dressed up or down.

There are lots of great blazers out there, but most of them are not sweater blazers. Sweater blazers are the ones that are super soft, stretchy, and feel kind of like a sweatshirt. Amazing. THIS IS IS THE ONE I’M WEARING (tan is out of stock), but I linked some similar ones below.

Here are a few other body types wearing sweater blazer.

Every week in my 4 WAYS TO WEAR IT series, I want to show you the item on other body types and ages, so you can see it on more than just me. Check out all these gorgeous women wearing sweater blazers.

Check out these four outfits with sweater blazers:

#1. Layer a cardigan blazer over a dress

Make your summer dresses feel more fall appropriate by layering a sweater blazer over the top of them! This gingham dress looks so perfect for fall with this layer. Add a simple flat or ankle boot to complete the outfit.

#2. A sweater blazer looks amazing with a monochromatic black look.

I think this is my favorite of the three looks. The black jeans and black top, with the black belt, make an amazing base for a tan sweater blazer.

I added some leopard print shoes for a little pop of pattern in the outfit.

#3. A cardigan blazer is perfect with dress pants and heels for work

I don’t go to an office, but if I did, I’d totally wear this. A cardigan blazer is a great option to keep you warm, comfortable, and looking tailored.

Try it with a button down shirt, sleek dress pants, and some heels or loafers.

#4. Dress up your jeans and sneakers with a cardigan blazer

You can totally wear a sweater blazer with casual outfits. It looks amazing with jeans (this cropped style is cute, but any style works!) and a t-shirt. Finish your outfit with sleek, low cut sneakers for a sporty, chic outfit.

Coinsindentally, I purchased 4 new blazers just this week. All brand new with Macy’s tags from Goodwill and then a brand new one from Steinmart with pants as N interview suit. I Went to the alterations to shorten the sleeves and it was 35.00 in Atlanta. Maybe I will get hired for the extra dtail
Great tips today. Keep them coming! One more question, do I follow the same sit stand rules as a man does in unbuttoning my coat? Basically do I unbutton as I’m sitting?
