A couple of weeks ago, I was contacted by Misikko and asked to try out one of their flat irons. They sent it, along with a bunch of other great stuff.
It took me a couple of days to get used to it, just because I was used to my old cheapo flat iron, but after I got the hang of it, and set it to the correct temperature, I fell in love. In fact, I used my old flat iron one time after a week of using the hana flat iron, and HATED it. It pulled my hair, it made kinks, and it took significantly longer straighten my whole head.
This is what my hair looks like after I blow dry it (awesome right?):
I straightened my hair in two sections (top and bottom)….
and after only about six minutes of straightening, this was the result:
If you haven’t noticed from the rest of this blog, I don’t typically buy super expensive stuff. But I definitely recognize the difference between good quality and cheap quality, and know that if I spend more money on an item, that it will (typically) be a better item. The products from Hana Salon are expensive, but this is definitely a professional quality flat iron and gave me very professional results. If you are willing to spend a little money, this is definitely the flat iron for you.
FTC Disclosure: I was not compensated for this post, but the product was provided by Misikko.
Looks great! I received and reviewed the HANAair dryer, but I could use a new flat iron now and I'm definitely considering the Hana. Is it the 1" or the 1-1/2"?
Your hair looks amazing! But I'm loyal to my ghd flat iron.

Looks great! Do you use any product on your hair or just dry and straighten?
oh wow! that looks great! i flat iron my hair also and have a cheapo! ive been eyeing a Chi but this might be a contender! 🙂
Your hair looks great. It would have never occurred to me to use a flat iron on my already really straight hair. I love how it smooths out the "wows" and "fly-aways".
I love your hair straight 🙂 gorg.
6 minutes.. dang! It looks awesome. You are so cute!!! Love the color combo too.
@JMc, I just use mousse and a heat protector oil before blow drying, then straighten and hairspray if I need to!
