Over the weekend we drove down to Palm Springs for a little staycation. Philip has been needing some new suits for work and they have a super nice outlet mall down there, and we had a free hotels.com night, so the decision pretty much made itself. We stayed in a gorgeous little casita that was about 10 steps from the pool, and besides the 110 degree weather, it was a perfect overnight getaway. Our only regret was that we didn’t stay more than one night, but that’s pretty much how all vacations go for us 🙂

Oh, what a cute little place. I wish we could go away on short breaks more often, but it's so difficult with three dogs. We always need to find someone to look after them first.

My wife and I took a short staycation: we booked a cozy room nearby, lounged by the pool all day, dined in silence, and strolled leisurely. It was the perfect way to recharge our batteries, without the need for long flights, just pure relaxation and time together. It’s a shame we couldn’t stretch it out longer; our emotions were at their peak. To update our wardrobe after such a getaway—comfortable pajamas and underwear for lazy evenings—I chose options from one hanes place . Now our home is even cozier, and we continue to enjoy the peace and quiet.
