My family and I are off on our spring break trip soon! We’re headed to a cabin for a few relaxing days, but whether you’re headed to a theme park or a big city, or a resort, or anywhere else, here are 5 fun spring break outfit ideas you can copy, plus shopping options for each category.

5 Cute Spring Break Outfit Ideas

1. Travel day outfit idea

Whether you’re road tripping or flying, a comfy travel outfit is essential. I’ve done a few posts about travel days in the past (you can read them RIGHT HERE and RIGHT HERE), but the most important thing is to feel comfy and have the layers you need.

I wore THIS MATCHING SET on the plane on our trip to Mexico in November and it’s a perfect set to feel cute and be incredibly comfy. But a pair of joggers and a hoodie is also a great combination. I always bring a backpack to carry my essentials, but also a little crossbody bag to keep my phone and anything else when I need quick and easy access.

2. Sight Seeing outfit idea

For sight seeing, something comfortable and breathable is essential. Also I always like to have a layer I can put on and take off. I try not to wear anything that could get ruined or visibly dirty if I sat down in something or spilled on myself.

These olive pants are great and super comfy, and I paired them with a tee and denim jacket, and my favorite comfy pair of sneakers.

3. Pool or beach outfit idea

If you’re headed somewhere with a pool or beach, you’ll definitely need a swimsuit and coverup! I just did a roundup of swimsuit coverups IN THIS POST, but I’m loving this super cozy one from Aerie that I’m wearing above. The top is great by itself as a coverup since it’s super long, or the shorts can be worn by themselves as a coverup. Also this ribbed hot pink swimsuit is stunning and so comfortable.

I’m in a size small in the shirt, small in the shorts, and small in the swimsuit.

4. Amusement park outfit idea

If you’re going to an amusement park for spring break, you’ll need a comfy and cute outfit for all day in a park. This striped dress is beyond comfy, not sheer at all, and machine washable if you spill or get it dirty. At amusement parks, I like to wear a pair of biker shorts under my dresses (THESE are my favorite) so I don’t flash anyone while I’m getting on a ride.

Of course I’m wearing my favorite most comfortable sneakers, and I added the best crossbody bag that fits everything, along with an olive jacket if it gets cool in the evening or morning.

5. Evening out outfit idea

Wherever you’re headed for spring break, there may be an evening when you want to dress up a bit and go out. This maxi dress is perfect for going out. You could do flat sandals to dress it down a bit, but I did big gold earrings and a nice raffia bag and some block heel sandals for a bit of a dressier look.
