My Favorite Small Businesses

Small Business Saturday is such a great way to show some small shops some love. Here are a few of my favorites!

As a small business owner myself, I know how special and important each and every sale is. I’m sharing some of my favorite small shops that I have loved for years. I own and love things from these shops, and I hope you find something you love from them. Show them some love this holiday season by choosing to shop small!

My Favorite Small Businesses:

  • Doughsie Dough
    • I know playdough (the mess!) can be controversial with parents, but I love the Doughsie Dough kits because it keeps the mess contained and actually gives my kids direction when they’re playing with it. These kits would be perfect for your kids!
  • Jut Made
    • I love these magnetic letterboards – so much easier to put together than the traditional felt ones. These would be so fun for your guy’s office!
  • Merrick White Collection
  • Red Aspen Nails
  • Stacks and Steel
    • These tile stretch bracelets are so popular right now – and for a good reason, they’re so cute and easy to add to an outfit. I love their designs, these would be perfect for your sister or any woman in your life – from teenagers on up! I own some of their bracelets and love them! They’re 20% off any order over $30.
  • Savvy Reading
    • This is an incredible virtual reading tutoring class. Sanny (my 5 year old) has been taking their classes for the last seven months and it literally taught him to read without any help from me. They have live virtual classes four days a week with tiny class sizes (up to four at the most, but also private classes are available!) and they make learning to read so fun and engaging with live coaches. Their deal through Monday is $25 off every month for the duration of your subscription (and you can switch to another student in the future and keep the deal). I wrote more about it RIGHT HERE.
  • FLEKK Cosmetics
    • I use my FLEKK eyeshadow palette almost every day – one of my must-have items! This would be a perfect gift for your friends or sister, or an older-teen who’s really getting into makeup because it’s so easy to use.
      • I usually have a code: MERRICK for 20% off, but this weekend she has bundles on major sale, so my code doesn’t stack on top. But my code will work again after her deal is over!
  • Shine Cosmetics
  • Mentionables Lingerie
    • This is the most beautiful, affordable lingerie out there, and if you use code MERRICK, you get 10% off at checkout! They have lingerie in size XS-3X and they’re never shown on models, which is nice so you’re not comparing your body to models, and your husband can buy you some lingerie without having to look through sexy pictures of other women in lingerie.
  • 30 Days to an Organized Home
    • My friend Kailee is super organized and put together this home organizing course. It’s on sale this weekend and is a great gift for anyone who already has everything!
  • Creators Club
    • This is an art and creativity course created by my amazing friend, Sara, that helps kids learn about amazing creative men and women. It’s amazing for artistic kids, homeschool kids, or just families wanting to learn about history in an amazingly creative way. If you sign up for a year subscription, you get three past courses for free! She releases a new creator every month with projects and activities related to that creator, so you’ll get the 12 in your subscriptions plus 3 extra! Use code BLACKFRIDAY at checkout.
  • Rad and Happy
    • This is another amazing brand created by my friend, Tara. She makes the best planners for everyone, including planners specifically for teachers. She also just released a hand lettering course for kids called Lettering for Littles, and she sells other fantastic products including the most luxurious baby blanket.

A good selection of stores. I really love to visit such shops on weekends, they are always cozy and you can choose a good gift for loved ones. Plus I like to support small businesses. As a beginner entrepreneur, I know how difficult it is to develop it. I read an article on https://wow24-7.io/blog/what-is-support-department-definition-and-meaning about the Support Department in a Company and set out to implement such a method for running my small store. Do you think this is effective?

Thank you for the article. I required a small amount of money when I first started my business, but it seemed like a lot at the time. I also had the option of either investing or borrowing. I was looking for different information to make a decision and came across affiliate programs for all, which is obviously not about business, but then decided to use it to expand the business. Thus, I gained experience with affiliate marketing,
